Stutopia Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Sat in a jam the other evening, spotted this interesting modified Corsa. Given the current weather and my frustration at not being able to get out and give my filthy Zed some love, I can almost see the appeal of not having to worry about keeping your paint clean Not seen many rats about, is there much of a scene over here? veilside z Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Not a fan of the rat appearance. 1 Quote
ilogikal1 Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 (edited) That's not rat look. That's intentionally been made to look like a rusty mess (even more than when it left the factory ), which is very different from neglecting the bodywork in preference of the mechanicals and it happening naturally, which is rat look. As Ekona said, that's just a f*cking mess. Edited November 15, 2015 by ilogikal1 Quote
GMballistic Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Not seen many rats about, is there much of a scene over here? I've seen one or two locally, ...although they could just be sh*t cars that people don't care about to be fair. Quote

AMT Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Interesting to look at....for all but 30 seconds. Besides that its just crap and why you would bother to go to the lengths I don't know. Quote
AMT Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 I hate them and said I'll never have one.... So, guess which was my first ever car... A faded red 5 door corsa 1.7D 'breeze'. There was nothing breezy about its 59bhp anyway Quote
Rock_Steady Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 I think I have some rat poison somewhere..... Quote
scobie140 Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 must be an interesting conversation declaring that to the insurance company 1 Quote
AMT Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 (edited) "yeah so its...a Vauxhall corsa. Um, but it already looks like its had a crash...ITS FINE! but... it looks like it may have been left in a skip for a few year".... "ok sir...that'll be £16.50 for the year" Or even imagine claiming.. "Id like it to be repaired to its previous spec please..." haha Edited November 17, 2015 by AMT 1 Quote
ilogikal1 Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 Or even imagine claiming.. "Id like it to be repaired destroyed to its previous spec please..." haha FTFY. 1 Quote
martybhoy Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 .... I'm kind of speechless. I like to be happy for anyone doing what they can to their cars with whatever budget allows them to but that's not right. Rat look only works on classic American/Australian cars. Quote
