davetstan Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 I agree with sipar69, go for the quartz or to be different, that burnt orange the range rover sport comes in may look good. Dave Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
Ekona Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 Ferrari Scuderia Red That's a sodding perfume! Lotus Chrome Orange, or Porsche Riviera Blue. Google them, then tell me I'm wrong. P.S. I'm not. Quote

I'm not. PRB is just a poor man's Bayside Blue TBF, LCO isn't bad, if you're colour blind to the orange part of the spectrum Quote
GMballistic Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 I don't want to go to all this hassle and once done think. Should of gone wild. Something wild. What do you think? Quote
Ekona Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 Also, anyone click here and expected to see a supercharged Zed? 1 Quote
GMballistic Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 Vile. Wasn't asking you. Oh and I only put it up because of the Ops comment about going for something "wild". Also, anyone click here and expected to see a supercharged Zed? And yes. Quote
team stevedave Posted August 7, 2015 Author Posted August 7, 2015 Sorry for the charged comment I suppose it was unnecessary, it was just to give you the idea that I would like it to look aggressive to match the noise the vortech makes haha. BTW lotus chrome orange is now at the top of my list, I am going into work tomorrow and will spray a couple of test cards as there is two codes slightly different colours. Google shows both. One seems to be a solid orange, the other flips to yellow. I really like it. Thanks for the input of everyone. I'm getting excited!! Where as going gm again doesn't . 1 Quote
GMballistic Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 That's cool Steve and I'd definitely do something different especially after all the effort you seem to be putting into the body work correction. Quote
ChrisB Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 Definitely orange I like Orange I like blondes Quote
Ekona Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 Chrome Orange is gorgeous in the flesh, great choice Quote
Stutopia Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 Definitely orange I like Orange That orange is perfect, much better than Dan's one Quote
Floydbax Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 Sorry but Porsche Riviera Blue only looks good on a Roadster IMHO it's too much blue candy on a coupe Quote
Jetpilot Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 (edited) Different colours work on different cars imho, as mentioned about the Range Rover Orange, its a lovely colour and I got an Rx7 sprayed in it, it looked tragic. Even in standard colours the 350 looks very different. If you want it to look mean as per your post, yellows and oranges wont work, it will look flash, needs to be something dark if you want mean. Edited August 8, 2015 by Jetpilot Quote
team stevedave Posted August 8, 2015 Author Posted August 8, 2015 Ye I totally agree, dark neutral colour to be mean, its either one way or the other, I just feel it deserves to shout. Turns out chrome orange is a three stage (£££££££) I'll be speaking my boss nicely. Quote
GT4 Zed Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 The liquid yellow, Porsche riviera/Volvo polestar blue or chrome orange will all make the car standout and work with black roof and accents. Blue will be my choice and probably satin. It's pointless to go with any of the OEM colour if having a full respray. Quote
LRF4N Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 I don't get the hype with that porsche blue? It's far too flat for my liking. Maybe it's better in the flesh Quote
Jetpilot Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 Good shout, why not go one of the Nissan Midnight purples, flash and pending on angle or light will look mean. There is a r34gtr at my mates body shop in midnight purple 3, purple/blue/gold/bronze in one sitting Quote
Leosille Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 The 370z in America has a 'black cherry' which is a purple worth a look. 1 Quote
