The solution is to use preassembly grease.
There are circa 80 x 6mm similar bolts on the R35 GT-R undertray panels and every time I have them off I always re-grease them which is very time consuming but well worth it.
In all fairness, I think it could be up to 4 weeks before I start to dismantle this car I am afraid.
However I can remove parts now that does not compromise me starting and moving the car about the shop.
Unfortunately that does not sound healthy Chris, and a replacement engine may be required I am afraid.
How is the engine oil level?

The cats on the DE appear to be in great shape.
I think that they are OEM with the heatshields removed.
Unsure when I am going to start to dismantle this car, so if you require these tomorrow than that is not going to happen I am afraid.

I just took another low mileage 350z DE in for dismantling today so should be able to help you with DE cats.
