  1. Looks fantastic, have fun...
  2. Erm, ok, I got one... Ebay a couple of folding bicycles or arrange a normal one through your hotel / B&B as you have just no idea how chocca Spa is... Serious, you cant get near it for miles and its gridlock... Try staying somewhere like Robertville (Malmedy is expensive and used by the teams), and cycle to the track, its ten miles thereabouts... The Ring will be busy as well a week either side as Spa is so close to it, you just get more track closures but its still worth the trip too as just stalking the parking lot to see the other cars on show and talking to other Ringers is a cool day as well... Oh and wet gear... Take wet gear...
  3. The ZZ3 is a cracking dry tyre and average in the wet, the down side is the wear rate is quite high... As posted, some sizes in the ZZ3 range are being discontinued with 245/45/18 being one of them. Avon now reccommend the ZZ5 but although it is sold as a performance tyre it performs better in the wet to the detriment of dry grip. Its called targeted marketing, we are not who they are aiming at any longer, its the BMW / Audi man with more money (according to the marketing people) and a family to keep safe on a wet motorway... Shame really...
  4. 27mpg... How I would love to get that return... Hold on, take a step back... How I would love the Z on the road...
  5. I got the HKS from Clark Motorsport... I'v never seen so much packaging bling in all my life... Hope the filter performs as good as the reviews... Chers Ewen...

Ewen, you want to get a dyno and Uprev software to sort us Scots out ...
  7. Love the base grey and deck blue... Awsomely so... Would have the base carbon wraped though... OMG, ahm turnin into a Z-Tart...
  8. Wow... I thought it was just a name...
  9. Not a fan of red, every red car we have had (apart from the Ka) ended up brutally murdered or killed... That said, I like the black handles and wheels with yours, makes the car...
  10. Dont drive fast, relax, dont be tense (top tip) and learn how the car reacts to what input, its the cheapest driving lesson you will get... Unless you get it wrong though... Have fun, cheers...
  11. You'r never going to filter like your on a bike, I mean, theres times on the bike (especially in on Eurotrip) when you just do things that later in the day you think, hmmmm, that could have went just so so wrong (or like in 2005 fell out the bed reaching for the front brake, so so funny), oh and I see your avitar and make the connection if you have the space of a fag paper your through, ... Z is just such a fun car, I actually see it the other way a bit though... How many times have you overtook only to have them flash or give hand gestures and think well maybe if you were driving a Fiesta an overtake there might not be a good idea but in the Z its as safe as ever... Theres a bit of road near me where I'm sure they made a mistake on the road markings, its between two bends but on the bike or in the Z (just) you can get out and in in time... Can someone take this shovel away from me, I'm not a nutter, you know what I mean...

  13. PM Ewen at Clark Motorsport, I got DBA T3's and Ferrodo DS2500 for the rear and PFC disc and 01 pads for the front as well as Hose Technic lines and Motoul RBF... Even if doing a couple of track days a year you have to plan the brakes round that, its no fun going out, doing a couple of laps and coming in to sit for twenty minutes to cool down or worse get to somewhere like the hairpin at Knockhill and find theres no pedal...
  14. Rays, Arthur Exchange (see sig)... Pig to clean...
  15. Yea, congrats, it will be well worth the hard work and sacrifice put into it... Ah'll be in your place in a month or there abouts after a year and a bit off the road so understand your excitement... Cheers...
  16. I'm of the oppinion these wheels polished are for show cars... My Rays were chromed with polished rims but the chrome came away in about two years and had to constantly polish and wax the rims, which for me is a pain in the ass... So I painted them... I mean they looked so so awsome but in the end they need so much attention and thats not my thing... Awaiting analasys on them just now as there getting done again...
  17. Nice post, mine is worn through and needs done... Cheers...
  18. Have you tried to free it up with a spray? Give it a helping hand while someone works the switch and keep spraying it, should come back to life...
  19. Hose Technic I'v just got from Clark Motorsport, they have the same blocks as standard, not put them on yet but they look the part... Problems draining the fluid !!!! Oh dear...
  20. That wont work .. Yes it will, I'v done it... Twice... You just need to douch it for long enough to hit the button on the remote...
  21. 05 or less X-Trail unit plugs right in... You loose the TV though but it was analogue anyway... There is an AUX that you can plug into on the head unit (at least on mine there is) as well... I want to (and will at some time) make those redundant switches for audiolink up at the mirror do something...
