  2. Has all the symptoms of mine cept the cutout is momentary, like a second, and car runs fine... All the research on the forum pointed to camshaft position sensor and that's what code came up, its on order, cheers Ewen, hopefully solve the issue... Brendale, have the code read to confirm but probs just this... Cheers...
  3. If going over to the Ring, best advice I can give is have a healthy respect for it, go have fun and seriously don't push too hard, as said before me, Xbox (or better still video) gives you an idea of the layout but it takes lots more laps than you can do in a few days to learn the little things (how rutted and bumpy the right hander before he karusell is for one), just enjoy and keep 6 on your mirrors. Your twelve minute or whatever it is first lap will feel like half that... Best burger is to be found at the snelly just at Adenau bridge and for further travels your a stones throw from Spa... Have fun and mind post pix... Cheers..
  4. Well, finally got round to reading the codes, I guessed it right... P0340 - Camshaft position sensor problem (B1)... Shows the good info posted on the form lead me down the right route... Got 2 ABS fault codes too but there possibly symptom of the first one... C1109 - Battery voltage out of range... C1130 - Engine 1 fuel cut system fault.. Just thought I'd post, now to research a) where is it and where to get one... No rush, ahm skint on the account of goin racin wi the wee man... It costs a fortune just to be a pimple on the arse of it...
  5. I need an amp then coz mine is just sooooo loud even with the window up...
  6. If going to the trouble of getting the bumper off to disconnect a wire you'r as well just replacing the burnt out bit of wire, job done...

  8. I had to cut mine off the other month there, totally welded to the pin...
  9. . It's a real pain taking the tax disc holder apart, started off with 5 micro screws, now I'm down to 3 and it has to be wedged between the window and the dash now. LOL... Ditto...
  10. Parked in the police compound (think it was the police compound anyway) last night round seven as I done a few laps waiting for Tuc and the wee man... Feckin pick up area !!! What idiot thought that up? Height restricted!!!
  11. Similar to RobPhoboS except for discs, PFC front disc, DBA T3 rear disc, PFC 01 font pads, Ferrodo DS2500 rear pads, Hose Technic lines, Motoul RB600 fluid, all from Clark Motorsport... Better heat dissipation and more aggressive stopping power with less fade... Well worth it...
  12. Get a tin of Metaflux and don't spare it... Try a pin punch to remove the bolt, it is good stuff and works, failing that then drill and extractor. Even once the extractor is in place, use a spray or good old oil from a can and work the stud out and in, out and in... Good luck...
  13. We had to tilt the slave to get the bubble out but got there...
  14. Been there... Go for a full P3 service anything old fluid wise replace and as well changing the plugs just to get them out and a new set of belts... If the handbrake has been left on then that will need stripping down to free up and adjust... Just give anything rubber a wee look at for perishing as well... See Ewan at Clark Motorsport, he supplies everything you need and good advice as well... Nice one on bringing her back to life...
  15. Rear drop links... Mine is anyway...
