I have the V1 Nismo, just so suits the car... That said, the Veilside V3 is the nuts too...

Feck, ah remember doin that job a few years back, havin the scisor lift helped... That and 6 or 7 ratchet extensions to get at the top 2 bolts...

Just had the Z in to Kenneth Brown Motor Engineers (Hillington, Glasgow) for MOT and suspension work / fettling... Impressed and pleased with work and cost...

As said, a rather nice kitted up 350z in black (the best colour), you pulled into the outside lane, I was in the big 4x4 people carrier 2 cars behind but traffic meant I couldn't get close enough to say hi before I cut off at Paisley... Nice looking car... But I would say that, it looks like mine...

After a wee run on the M74 where you must have thought, what is this guy at! I'm the guy in the big 4x4 that said hi... Noticed the Z for the mirrors, twin stalk with indicators on, want... Nice talking...

Sa Nav is behind the seats, JDM has three connectors from memory, X-Trail just uses two of them (plus the gps lead of course)... Ebay and scrappys not unless someone on the forum has a stash of them...

Pressed for time but if you check out my posts you'll find the scoop... Year dependant (mine 05, it works)... Get the sat nav from an X-Trail, you loose the TV but who cares... Theres an AUX in there too so you can hook up to a reverse cam (not done) or an in car entertainment system (also not done)... UK disc in JDM sat nav wont work... Go for it...

As said a nice black soft top just outside Fulbeck... We were racing there this weekend...

Time was round half 6... I have a black JDM with Nismo kit, rarely get out in it... Ahm in Strathaven so fun fun fun roads in all directions... See you out there...

About 20 monutes ago at the roundabout at the Olympia, I just arrived at the junction and flashed the lights but you may not have seen me... I was in the big 4x4 thing anyway so it wouldnt click... Anyway... Feck that is one nice Z... Just so striking in that colour...

Same, my fog lamp unit from what you describe was done the same way and yes, it had melted too...

Round 10 past 5, we were in the big blue Jixa Racing Transit waving... Was it a mat black stealth Z..

170 on the bike is like seeing just snapshots of every 100 yards or so... Thats the legnth of a football pitch every second, lol... You try not to think of the "what if"...

Know, Google Maps (I use Android) is feckin awesome, even gives real time info and reroutes, I use the phone in the Deli and the van, but I like the Z to look factory inside, I tolerate the mess of cables in the vans but in the Z I like the clean install look... A 7" tablet install or carPC would be an obvious for me but between racing and having more projects than time it wont happen... Whatever you do, post it up so we can see how I looks... Cheers...

Eeek... Change the brakes to at least the Bembos if nothing else... Serious, if you like to hustle on a bit in the twisties, change the brakes, best money you can spend...

As what BulletMagnet said... That said, sort out the brakes first so you can "get out of trouble as fast as you got into it" (love that quote)... As for insurance, talk to the good people at A-Plan Bletchley, sports car friendly...

Standard intake with HKS filter...

Sory, a bit late to the party but the noisy ones always are... Ahv got Art sports cats and HKS dual... People jump when I start the car, the sound up to 3 is deep and burbly, at 3 off throttle no noise, drones at 4, mental wale anywere above that and he overrun on the downhift is intoxicating... Love it... On a side note, when I as 19 I had Chevette with a Bedford 2.3 in it (not the canted Lotus it should have been) with a straight through pipe to a Cherry Bomb... It went to eleven...

The Jap satnav/tv unit is useless here... I'v been through all this as my Z is full of useless cool stuff, like the compulink buttons above the mirror and toll tag, etc... Anyway... The fix is to (sorry, you didnt say the year of yours, mine is an 05 so I now this works for that year),get a UK 05 X-Trail sat nav unit, you loose the TV but you can install a freeview box an hook it up to the AUX. Everyone says the screen is kack for TV/DVD playback so do you want to? For me yes but I'v not got to that yet, but the sat nav works no problem... That said, my screen has went down, suspect a fuse but from reading, its behind the stereo so will be a day when I have time to rip out he console... JDM''s are cool, nice one... Have fun with it...

Hi there, my nav screen is blank today. The sat nav is ok (disc is whirring away) and the controls under the screen light up, its just the screen... Web searching comes up with next to nothing but there was a post about the svreen having a fuse behind the sterio... Can anyone shed some light on this or help in any way? Dont want to rip the dash apart but if I have to I have to but would like to know what I'm getting into first... Cheers...
