  1. Not enough info on what it came off of andthe connectors on the back look alien... That said the JDM and UK spec cars have different connectors... What you need is an 05 UK X-Trail satnav, sorry, if its a JDM thats what you need, otherwise surely its just a UK spec satnav unit you need...
  2. Check out this post... http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/24993-brembo-callipers-in-blue-red-and-yellow/page__st__60__hl__yellow#entry1200943
  3. What wheels are those? More specific, what are the stats, sizes and offsets??? They look really good...

    NEW BOOTS

No, it is replaced by the R1R but they dont do it in my size (unsure if thats a dont or dont yet)... Regardless, tyres are on rims but the weekend was taken up with making money and keeping a 9 year old's karting career going (which aint easy)... So now need to wait probably another week to get the light and the weather to fit up the spacers I need... Just feels like everything Z is at a halt at the moment...
  5. You cant class a Goldwing as a bike FFS... It may have 2 wheels but its really a small car..
  6. Cable ties... M, and railway sleepers while its up in the air... Thats what its on the now, aint goin anywhere...
  7. Noodles will see you through... You made the right decision keeping the car, its yours and paid for and its a lot of car to give away for the silly low money you would get for it these days... See you out there...
  8. I have a tin of Ronseal in red for the floor of the Jixa Racing technology centre, or garage as the rest of the family call it...
  9. !st picture at Morrisons !!!! What have you done to shrink the Z... I had no I idea a Z was as small as that... I look at mine from the back and it looks like a porker...
  10. Hold on, it wasnt the cylnder that caused the problem... Trying to think back, sure it was the bit the pivot arm moves (thrust bearing?) was gunked up, no know how and that was stopping the pedal from moving freely, hence the creaking, cant mind how it ended up bursting the cylnder or maybe it was unrelated and just away at the same time, was a while back.... Point was, it was making a creaking sound like that, seems theres loads of sounds like that without major issues so hope its not but if the pedal does start to give resistance you will need to have it looked at right away, I was lucky, the pivot bolt had sheared flush with the casing which would usualy be major (money wise) and by mirracle the Metaflux worked and it came out, topped of by it was a mate doing the work for the cost of a bottle of vodka...

    NEW BOOTS

Nope, just heading over to get them done just now... The car is on sleepers anyway till all the works done... New spacers required, going for Eibach again, just have to work out the size, wheel is a 35 offset and I want them sitting wide... Going to measure up but if anyone has info on sizes to clear the Brembos, much appreciated... Will let you know how it goes but if you look at Toyo's own promotional videos its the 350Z they use... I dont think ah'll be dissapointed...

    NEW BOOTS

You all know I love the Avon ZZ3 but Avon have discontinued them, so let me introduce you to the new boots... Take a look at these bad boys... Its Toyo T1R's, 245/35/19 and 275/35/19... Got these from Matt at Funky Tyres, if you see this Matt, outstanding service mate and fast delivery... Cheers...
  13. Mine is an import and has steering wheel controlls... Anyway, that stupid cheapo fog light cut into the bumper shows the lack of care and attention done to the job, should have done it properly and put it where it should be... MHO, sorry...
  14. Erm, dont laugh, I have been known to do this after a trip to the gravel trap on a certain German derestricted toll road... Gaffa tape, a few zip ties and get out there again... As long as its safe and theres no fluid leaks, soldier on... Fix it a few months later when the cash is there... I mean, who cares, people can point and laugh but I know how I did it and the fun I had doing it, even now I kick myself and laugh but thats motorsport for real as opposed to Forza...
  15. Not for me, theres something hypnotic about the paint though and love the wing... The red car dont suit it though, needs to be on a black car... Like mine... The shot from the rear is where the looks are... Agree it does look a bit wide from the other angles...
  16. Always snails coming up there... As for the Traffic, tonight as you come along the straight past Mathew Alge, just before the 60 gantry look to your left, theres one of the intercept ramps the police sit on... It was one of the big 4x4's...
  17. Was Tradeston so probably was yourself... I never got that close to you to see, barely made out the colour in the dark as it was... You'd never see me, it was just another big blue van ever receding in the mirror...
  18. Ok, may or not be time to panic... I had the same thing, the pedal was slightly heavier and within a week of the noise appearing the pivot bolt broke... It was the slave cylnder that had gone and I ended up with a broken pivot bolt (its inside the gearbox and if you dont know someone who knows what their doing it can be a big bill). I got a new slave and braided line from Clark Motorsport still to put on as the 2nd hand one I put on 3 years ago has gone, I think theres an issue on my car but thats another thread... Worth while getting it checked out or at least a more informed second oppinion / apprasal of my advice... Hope its nothing though... Cheers...
  19. Forgot to post this, was Monday night after work so probs about half 5, sixish, I was on the new M74 Eastbound when a Sunset Z came up the slip road and straight across to its proper place on the road, I flashed the lights (as a hello, not a feck you flash) and tried to keep close in the hope that you would be pulling in for a junction to wave hello... .......... I was in the van so that thought was out the window... Did yi no see the speed trap...
  20. +1 For that money I dont think they will even live up to OEM, with poor quality steel probably wont keep their looks either, its your brakes mate, got to be the most important part of the puzzle, even if you'r not tracking it has to be as good as original...

    Presents!!

Nice one... Front lip transforms the car...
  22. As said in the past, I'm old school so its brakes first, then suspension then power, and inbetween as and when I'll put in other bits and bobs... I'v been known for panels to have gaffa tape on them and I still get slagged for finding bits of German gravel trap in the car... Dont get me wrong, I like the Z to look good but its not often it gets tlc in the looks department... Must do better... Right now the car is up on sleepers till we finish the brakes then its MOT time, so yea, brakes thats what I would do...
