  1. And it's a look I rock. OH YEAH BITCHES
  2. Never heard of the input shaft failing on 987s, I assume it's the same with the 997.1 cars too and the 996s as they share the same engine and 'box. I'll have to look into this, thanks for the heads up.
  3. Indeed, why did we have to grow up and stop spunking horrendous amounts of money on modifying cars?
  4. Experience and a lot of reading. A hell of a lot of reading.
  5. It's a marketing thing. People assume that stiffer must equal sportier and better, when all it actually means is that you shake your fillings out and the car skips round corners when it touches a pebble. Alas, the general public are for the most part morons, and will fall for it.
  6. Just been pointed at this link, excellent timing: http://www.arcfn.com/2012/10/a-dozen-usb-chargers-in-lab-apple-is.html?m=1 That would nicely demonstrate the difference.
  7. Do you want to go quick round the corners or quick in a straight line? 2 or 4 seats? FWD, RWD or 4WD? Front, mid or rear engined? NA or FI? Badge important? Running costs? Reliable?
  8. Sounds fine. Personally I would change the "will expect you to cover the cost of the works deemed necesscary" to something like "I am sure you will want to make sure that I am left in the position I was before the works took place". Sounds less aggressive so gives you somewhere to go, plus that's the exact whole point of the insurance so will look good if you ever needed to escalate to the courts.
  9. I only use genuine stuff, but then I did buy all my leads and adaptors before there were any 3rd party ones available.
  10. ^^^ I STRONGLY APPROVE OF THIS GRAMMAR NAZISM
  11. Who?
  12. Dear Sir/Madam, I came home to *insert your address here* on the evening of the 22nd Jan 2013 to discover some of your workmen installing a water meter at *insert neighbour's address here*. I noticed that my car reg *insert reg here* has been covered with mud, stones and rubbish and I believe this to have been done by your workmen. I also now have a non-functioning headlight washer which certainly wasn't non-functioning before. My heighbour, who lives where the work was being carried out, informed me that your workmen did attempt to wash down the front of my car, however this is also unnaceptable as quite simply either they should have been more careful in the first place or preferably I should've been informed that the work was going to take place. If that had happened, I could've simply moved the car and we wouldn't be in the situation we now find ourselves in. Please find attached photos of the state of the car, and I'm sure you'll agree that this is not acceptable. I would very much appreciate a response within 7 days as to how you intend to rectify this situation to my satisfaction. Yours sincerely, 350Chris Job done. Also, don't leave it until the weekend to get photos, if you have to give your camera to someone else today then get it done, it'll be too late by the weekend as their argument will be that someone else could've done it in that time.
  13. If you've got it, it'll be in your paperwork
  14. @350Ad: That would be right in the way of my forearm if it was there. Do you change gear with a Gay W*nking Claw style or something?
  15. Used to pop mine in the DIN pocket below the Alpine head unit. The cable for the stereo was in there too.
  16. Not sure, if they do then it's still a lip spoiler so hardly noticeable.
  17. I suspect Lewis either knew, or is going to be a little peeved at this new turn of events.
  18. Carbon roof, more power, gorgeous carbon airbox, lighter wheels.
  19. Robbing git, that's my line! HBTY HBTY HBDM HBTY
  20. Legend, cheers fella
  21. Plus bigger brakes, quicker rack, different springs, and more forgiving stability control.
  22. Too little, too late IMHO. Styling is better on the back than the front, but each to their own on that. The steering wheel is a lovely touch, I'll give them that one. Does the suspension need to be any harder though, especially on UK roads? I would rather have seen Nissan remove weight as well as add a little power as that would transform the driving experience, but I guess they want to stay away from that for now. The one thing that worries me is the price: If it's a £5K premium elsewhere, will it be £10K by the time it gets here? I really hope not. This needs to be the same price the 370Z is now, and the normal 370Z needs dropping a smidge.
