  1. Values haven't changed massively since I've been looking, so that's 20 years of stability. I'm not saying 'cos if I do someone else might go and buy it I hate people that say that, but if I did mention the exact one it really wouldn't be too hard to find exactly what I'm looking at. It's a Fender though, and a limited edition that's no longer made. I've wanted for for 20 years, only been looking for 12 months! Hmmm, you lot appear to be more of a bad influence that I had suspected. Good for me, bad for credit card.
  2. If it's never had a geo, then give it one. They should be done annually, or every 6 months if you drive on extremely bad surfaces. That will not only help eliminate any mechanical issues, but make the whole car feel a lot better too. You're not just after a standard 'get the wheels pointing in the right direction' kind of geo, you really need to take it somewhere that understands performance cars and will give you a setup based upon your own driving style.
  3. A question for you all, if I may be so bold. There's a certain make and model of guitar out there that I've been keeping an eye on in the last year or so. I've wanted one since I very first saw one, which was before I could even play the guitar properly, so we're talking nearly 20 years here. I have a sudden and uncontrollable urge to buy one as soon possible. It's not mega money, only £600 or so, but it's money that I technically don't have right now so would need to be dropped on a credit card. I can think of better times to purchase it, but by the time that time comes I might be unable to find a good one. I have other guitars here I can play, and to make it worse I don't even play them that much. I could sell a couple to fund the purchase, but they're a bit grubby and would need money spending on them to get them to a sellable point. I also don't like selling guitars as they have good memories for me. So, the question is, do I or don't I? Any one else ever made a purchase of something they've longed for for years, and then regretted it? Or have I been this patient for so long that I really should just MTFU and get it as it's really not going to bankrupt me? Sensible and not to sensible thoughts please.

    Maxxis MA Z1 Tyres

They sound quite familiar to the 040s, going from that.
  5. Only 'cos of this France is good, and if you've never done them then the Normandy beaches and the associated sights are an absolute must-do in life. Some nice roads round there too. There's loads of other bits in France to go, but with such a short time frame you're limited in both days and miles. Milau, Monaco... Or head over to Germany and do the Black Forest.

Look like a cross between S1 Neovas and the VUS. If they're cheap enough, might be worth a punt.
  7. Have you used the fast-curing paint on this one?

  10. This route misses out the Stelvio, but keeps a good pass in there still Bit more added at the end, looks a good road
  11. Stelvio will be quite busy in July according to friends who have gone, but there's plenty more passes around the area that would make equally if not better driving roads. Your route is this so far, yes?
  12. Hola Alejandro, bienvenido a 350z-uk!
  13. I'll put them towards a Cath Kidston one. In dark blue, with flowers on.
  14. Oh yeah! God that's awful And I said electrical issues before Keyser did Albeit his was somewhat more specific
  15. Am I right in seeing two bare cables there? One yellow and one brown?
  16. Have you seen a Roadster with the roof up? There's a reason there's no pics of it like that, no-one would buy it if they saw how ugly it looks!
  17. Blimey, you lot are picky! It's a £5K ragtop, assuming the roof works then even if it's a cat D it's a good deal. Ventilated net seats, too. *runs off to raid piggy bank*
  18. No no no no no
  19. Gimme a minute to open the van door and get the duct tape off her mouth, and I'll see if she wants to be dropped off at yours next.
  20. Which side? I can confirm we are all dry over by Freeport, repeat, all clear by Freeport.

    Audi S5

As a DFi application, you will always get more carbon build up in the combustion chamber than a non-DFi one, and by all accounts the Audi lump is quite bad for this. That said, I suspect there's a lot of specialists out there now that can take care of this for you, albeit I doubt it's cheap. Plenty of 10K Boost will help prevent this though. You're more likely to come up against more usual running costs though: Check costs of brake discs and dampers.
  22. As always, it depends on your insurer. You definitely won't lose your NCB as you're not claiming. However, you will have to declare a non-fault accident at renewal time and they may choose to load your premium because of this. As always, ring and ask for clarification. If you get on well with her and trust her 100% (and I mean proper 100%), then let her do it outside of the insurance. If you suspect foul play for even one second, then call your insurer and let them handle it.
  23. Top shout, I'm in
  24. I turned the sound up on purpose! My, you were excited! Terrible video really having seen the damage done to your car, but incredible to watch at the same time. Thanks for posting that
  25. Jo was as p*ssed as a fart when I asked her. I wasn't taking any chances.
