  1. Dear Sir/Madam, I came home to *insert your address here* on the evening of the 22nd Jan 2013 to discover some of your workmen installing a water meter at *insert neighbour's address here*. I noticed that my car reg *insert reg here* has been covered with mud, stones and rubbish and I believe this to have been done by your workmen. I also now have a non-functioning headlight washer which certainly wasn't non-functioning before. My heighbour, who lives where the work was being carried out, informed me that your workmen did attempt to wash down the front of my car, however this is also unnaceptable as quite simply either they should have been more careful in the first place or preferably I should've been informed that the work was going to take place. If that had happened, I could've simply moved the car and we wouldn't be in the situation we now find ourselves in. Please find attached photos of the state of the car, and I'm sure you'll agree that this is not acceptable. I would very much appreciate a response within 7 days as to how you intend to rectify this situation to my satisfaction. Yours sincerely, 350Chris Job done. Also, don't leave it until the weekend to get photos, if you have to give your camera to someone else today then get it done, it'll be too late by the weekend as their argument will be that someone else could've done it in that time.
  2. @350Ad: That would be right in the way of my forearm if it was there. Do you change gear with a Gay W*nking Claw style or something?
  3. Used to pop mine in the DIN pocket below the Alpine head unit. The cable for the stereo was in there too.
  4. Not sure, if they do then it's still a lip spoiler so hardly noticeable.
  5. I suspect Lewis either knew, or is going to be a little peeved at this new turn of events.
  6. Carbon roof, more power, gorgeous carbon airbox, lighter wheels.
  7. Robbing git, that's my line! HBTY HBTY HBDM HBTY
  8. Plus bigger brakes, quicker rack, different springs, and more forgiving stability control.
  9. Too little, too late IMHO. Styling is better on the back than the front, but each to their own on that. The steering wheel is a lovely touch, I'll give them that one. Does the suspension need to be any harder though, especially on UK roads? I would rather have seen Nissan remove weight as well as add a little power as that would transform the driving experience, but I guess they want to stay away from that for now. The one thing that worries me is the price: If it's a £5K premium elsewhere, will it be £10K by the time it gets here? I really hope not. This needs to be the same price the 370Z is now, and the normal 370Z needs dropping a smidge.
  10. If you buy the car now on Nissan Finance, yes. Otherwise, I would say no. Sauce
  11. Why does he keep making comparisons to the 987.2 CS if he's actually testing the 987.1? The dynamic changes are massive between 987.1 and 987.2, engines AND suspension. It's a good review in places, but some of it is just nonsense. How the better everyday car can be the one with half the luggage capacity is beyond me. He slags the 987 engine off for being 'buzzy' and says he prefers the 370 one, yet at the start he calls the 3.7L 'coarse' and 'dull'. Which is correct then? No offence intended to the OP, it's always good to read stuff like this, but I think this is quite poorly written
  12. Should be on your P60, but you'll probably not be able to claim anything back until next year. If in doubt call the HMRC, they're quite helpful usually.
  13. I don't keep my guitar with me 24/7, no.
  14. Mumsnet is amazing. Whenever I feel like I'm overreacting, I go over there and have a browse. An hour later, I know that I really don't overreact when compared to others
  15. Couldn't agree more, and if I had the option then it would be a proper kit everytime. When I move house and get a detached one I'll have a dedicated studio for stuff like this, so it'll happen then.
  16. My house is end of terrace, no way I could get away with an acoustic set in there, next door have two small children too. It's a Roland HD-1, and I have to say it's excellent at what it does.
  17. So after buying the guitar, I kinda decided to buy this too: Digitech RP1000 multieffect/amp modeller thing. My old trusty RP6(!) from 1996 has just about given up on me, and I've decided to bite the bullet and get this to replace it. Loads of stuff on there as I'm sure you can imagine, and I can download patches from the interweb to give me custom tones designed by others. You can either have 10 patches or 5 patches and 5 stompboxes. Arrives tomorrow if I can catch the postie in time, should be ace!
  18. Really? One tiny mistake on a programme that was probably scheduled a year ago since it's a repeat makes the whole BBC look incompetent? I agree that there's some things they need to look into, but this really isn't one of them. I wouldn't want them to pay someone to sit there and watch every single programme that goes out just before it's aired just in case there's something in there that someone somewhere might or might not take offence to.
  19. Given that Saville will never see a courtroom to decide his guilt, I'm perfectly comfortable with seeing his stuff on the TV. No, I don't think there should be a huge 12 hour marathon dedicated to him, but neither do I need to be completely protected from ever seeing his image again. Once again, Brass Eye's paedo special is proving dangerously close to the mark.
