  1. My house is end of terrace, no way I could get away with an acoustic set in there, next door have two small children too. It's a Roland HD-1, and I have to say it's excellent at what it does.
  2. So after buying the guitar, I kinda decided to buy this too: Digitech RP1000 multieffect/amp modeller thing. My old trusty RP6(!) from 1996 has just about given up on me, and I've decided to bite the bullet and get this to replace it. Loads of stuff on there as I'm sure you can imagine, and I can download patches from the interweb to give me custom tones designed by others. You can either have 10 patches or 5 patches and 5 stompboxes. Arrives tomorrow if I can catch the postie in time, should be ace!
  3. Really? One tiny mistake on a programme that was probably scheduled a year ago since it's a repeat makes the whole BBC look incompetent? I agree that there's some things they need to look into, but this really isn't one of them. I wouldn't want them to pay someone to sit there and watch every single programme that goes out just before it's aired just in case there's something in there that someone somewhere might or might not take offence to.
  4. Given that Saville will never see a courtroom to decide his guilt, I'm perfectly comfortable with seeing his stuff on the TV. No, I don't think there should be a huge 12 hour marathon dedicated to him, but neither do I need to be completely protected from ever seeing his image again. Once again, Brass Eye's paedo special is proving dangerously close to the mark.
  5. Kinda what I expected as well. Must admit though my first thought was Photoshop! I wouldn't boycott Heineken because they sponsored a dog fight. I would boycott them on the principle that I do not drink sh*t beer
  6. Servicing intervals
  7. +1 If you can't ride it, it's not a proper dog.
  8. Chopped in my Riviera against it. I made the right choice, this thing is beautiful to play and the sound variations you can get from mucking around with the pickup switches is incredible. I love it muchly.
  9. Epic megalols! Fair play for sticking that up dude
  10. I actually disagree with that, if something is a cat D then I want to see pics before, during and after so I can gauge how well the repair was done, which in this case was very well indeed. If the damage is hidden then I would be very wary about the vehicle, unless a full inspection was undertaken. It's to the OP's credit that he had full disclosure about the car's history.
  11. It's below the avatar, not the name.
  12. £7.5K is top, top money, especially for a cat D. At £5K I'd have been interested, as cat D wouldn't put me off if the price was right.
  13. I was soooooo tempted...

  15. Definitely Rays over refurb, you'll notice a massive improvement in the way the car drives
  16. That'll be the older model I suspect, which wasn't great. The current (yellow) ones are much improved, but you do need to have a bit of care with them: After all, you wouldn't want to just let it go flying and take chunks out of the interior.
  17. There was one school on the news that stayed open but with a no-work policy, so all the kids and staff are having snowball fights and sledging lessons If people listened to the mantra "If your journey isn't vital, then don't drive", we'd all be a lot better off.
  18. Okay, let's start some predictions then which are miles too early as we haven't even seen the cars yet, but what the hell! Drivers: Alonso 1st, Vettel 2nd, Webber 3rd Constructors: Red Bull 1st, Ferrari 2nd, Lotus 3rd Button to finish ahead of Perez but only just, both to finish behind Massa and Grosjean.
  19. Engine mileage wouldn't bother me at all, it's the interiors that are seeming to wear pretty badly. Okay, so none of them were great in the first place, but all the ones I've looked at recently don't seem to be looking pretty good at all (notable exceptions to the guys in here who keep them pristine). Not sure how the suspension components hold up, I think it's pretty good as I'm not sure there's too many who have had them replaced as they've failed. A good sign if you ask me.
