So I was doing some digging earlier regarding some new tyres for the MR2, and was hunting for the right sizes in R888 on the Toyo website when I clicked on the 'Caution! Low temperature use' link. This used to say that they shouldn't be used under something like 7c, however it now reads that they shouldn't be used under -9c. That's a massive improvement, and certainly opens them up to far more usage than previously recommended. It very rarely hits -9c down here, so I'd be quite happy running them all year round I think. Now clearly for daily drivers they're probably no use for most people, but for the keen driver this removes a huge obstacle that was previously there. I know most folks will never use them, but those that do will really see why this is great news.

Nah, they were only around the 320bhp mark and the car weighed nearly two tonnes, so not really that quick at all. IIRC even the CSi was only 380-ish.

Far be it from me to criticise as I don't really bother with designs and that on Forza as a rule, but is that not just the Forza body kit with some wheels in black on with a black bonnet and roof (and presumably boot) and a couple of Ps on the door? I mean, it looks fine and all that, but it's not really a massive leap over a stock car, is it? Unless, of course, you're just playing with something realistic you'd want to do which in that case fair enough.

ESC cuts power, which can seriously upset the car. I hated it, but then it's also exactly what you need if things have gone wrong and you're about to jump on both pedals to save yourself. Good holding on Hensh, you'll learn for next time and be a much better driver for it

Daft question, but why not? Even if you use your own materials, and do it in your own time, and maybe bung a few quid to charity out of every sale? No offense, but I don't see you selling millions of these things anyway as it's a very popular marketplace if you even own a lathe, much less funds depleted if you hire one.

Yeah, I just wish that some of the public lobbies had crash damage on. It might make the knobheads (and I did get very vocal at them and call multiple people that earlier ) think twice before trying to ram everyone off on the first corner. Immensely irritating, and it ruins the online thing for me.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but are the MPSS not Michelin's highest performing summer tyre, or have I missed something? No more so than the 452 are Falken's highest performing summer tyre, or the RE050A Bridgestone's highest performing summer tyre. To avoid confusion, if a tyre isn't specifically designed for sub 7c usage, then the trend is to start calling them summer tyres. The amount of water the MPSS is designed to shift makes it the best all-year round tyre you can buy.
