  1. It's not that, it's down to how the development of the game runs. Dan from Turn10 explained it that they spend months working on the actual game and nothing but the game, then when that main part is done you suddenly have a bunch of guys sat around doing nothing. Well, they then start working on other cars with the part of the team that only does cars, and those cars are finished after the cut-off date for the actual game. They cannot then go into the main one, but can be finished in time to be put on the store as DLC. Obviously those guys need to be paid for their time, so that's why you pay for DLC and it's not just free. I've no doubt that perhaps one or two cars could've been included in the game, but then people would complain that the DLC was too little and wouldn't have coughed up so it also makes financial sense to hold those two back. I have no issues with DLC or MTs or anything like that in games. Sometimes I'll pay for them regardless if I'm a huge fan (Forza, Mass Effect) and sometimes I won't bother at all despite really enjoying the game (Dishonored, Dead Space). Make it worth my while and I don't mind paying for it.

^^^ That is one of the best posts I've ever read on here. I know I say this often, but I absolutely could not agree with any of that any more. Great stuff matey
  3. HBTY HBTY HBDI HBTY
  4. I actually really like the made up tracks now. In previous games they were crap and dull and I'd avoid them if poss, but the Alps ones are superb, as is Prague. Quality over quantity, fo sho. I have a confession: I don't miss the Ring at all
  5. I'm never buying physical again. You can get the limited editions in digital now too, and I don't mind paying a fiver extra for the benefit of never having to swap discs.
  6. Added Took me a while to get used to it too, but then that's 'cos I'm used to playing with a wheel. I think that you really need to get the hang of tuning the handling of the car now, my BRZ is much more drivable since I started fiddling with camber, castor and toe than just tyre pressures as you used to be able to get away with.
  7. nope what?? Nope, there isn't a stupidly long wait time to get one. I've no doubt that there's a good few sold, but they're an incredibly rare sight on the roads: They make the 370 look popular. There hasn't been 350,000 GT86s produced worldwide, much less registered in the USA! Source, and it's the owner's club too There will be no new Supra. If there is, I'll take a bath in jelly. Green jelly, at that.
  8. Trouble is, when was the last time Toyota did that? Last gen Supra I think, 20 years ago? To compete it would realistically need 400bhp and be under £40K. Never in a billion years.
  9. No chance. No-one is buying the BRZ86, why would they bother to make another sports car that won't sell?
  10. What the hell are they thinking?! Please tell me that's a hoax...
  11. You own a DE Zed, you have no place criticising the interior of any other car
  12. Do you use the '2 on track? We had a few Mk2 Tubbys for track use and the Yoko AD08s were amazing on track. Hence why I bought them for my Z. Haven't had a chance yet, at least not with this one, but I will do. Tbh I was struggling to find anything decent to fit the stock 15" wheels on the mk3, and in the end it was between Yoko S.drives or the 888s. Given that I'll not use it if the weather is really that bad, I kinda just decided to go for it! I'd have loved a set of Neovas (the LTS S1 type), but I need 16" rears for that.
  13. Perfectly normal.
  14. Very much depends on what you want from the engine, ultimately. Personally I can very much see the fun to be had from a lovely revvy engine, which is why the HR remains the more fun car for me even if it didn't have the better power number. As such, it might be a better idea to sell your current car, get a HR and go from there. That way you're pretty much set regardless of what you do, as the HR is much stronger in stock form if you decide to SC that.
  15. Just ordered mine
  16. On purpose, good skills. By accident, you need to re-evaluate your driving. No offence intended, not picking on you, I think I know exactly what you mean. Just using your post as a reference to make a point.
  17. If you're the person buying, then there is pretty much zero risk to you (assuming the car's legit). It's the seller that needs to take precautions, hence me saying that you should just go with whatever makes them comfortable.
  18. Thank you, couldn't have put it better myself. For those of us that feel comfortable using this type of tyre, it's a massive deal.
  19. Well duh, no road tyres are any good on ice, so the 888s wouldn't be any different
  20. Only 500? Bit overkill unless it's purely track use, but it's your leg muscles I guess... From a technical point, Clark Motorsport are bang on as usual
  21. My eyes hurt Welcome along!
  22. http://www.competitionclutch.co.uk/nissan-350z-35l-twin-clutch-2003--2006_p22492006.htm That one??!! How much power are you aiming for?!
  23. You'll be fine. What clutch is it you've bought?
  24. Only in 40 profile, but I've yet to hear of anyone having a TCS issue when running these tyres. Much smaller sample of people using, though.
