  1. *insert phrase about doing something correctly the first time or paying for it again here*
  2. Define 'better'. A Mondeo is better than a 458 as it can carry four people in comfort. A Corsa VXR is better than a 350Z for the same reason. All about perspective, chaps.
  3. If there is, have a word with the TDO before anything happens, if they've not spotted it already. The amount of people I hear in the pits complaining about other drivers but never actually speaking to the people in charge about is staggering.
  4. Just for the record, I hate online FPS games. They're boring, full of kiddies who are irritating, and just have no long-term interest for me. Except Titanfall. I had a blast with this last night, and far more fun than I should've really. You can complain about 6v6, or the 720-and-a-bit graphics, and the CoD with mechs all you like, but it doesn't detract from the the fact that this game is just really good FUN. I'm still crap at this (like I am with most FPS), but I didn't get the feeling that I was crap. I wasn't dying every minute, my kill ratio wasn't 1:10 like it usually is, and I enjoyed holding checkpoints etc. It's just a hoot, and it makes even the worst players feel like they're achieving something. It's ace. It should rightly be a system seller.
  5. Bloody chav Looks and sounds ace matey, great stuff
  6. That's not the standard that I've witnessed on the days I've done.
  7. It's all about attitude and common sense. If you do track days with other more expensive cars then they're far more worried about you, so tend to stay away a bit more Cheapy days full of numpties with crappy cars is a recipe for disaster.
  8. Many mistakes there, from all involved. Lack of awareness, lack of space, lack of courtesy, lack of talent. Very poor driving all round. This is why I pay that bit extra and go with people like BaT, who have very clear rules on stuff like this.
  9. Power is irrelevant, it's power delivery that counts. Only you can know whether you're happy to settle for lag in your FI setup. That will determine which route you go down.
  10. Mk1, about £35K. You'll need deep pockets though still, and many around that price are getting due for diff rebuilds if they've not been done.
  11. Have to say, it massively helped having driven far more laps of the track before going this time. Didn't help with the wet line unfortunately, but it was proper helpful other than that.
  12. 2WD for the men, 4WD for the girlies
  13. No. It has an AMG badge on the back but is in fact just a boggo SL500. Also, the wheels look retarded with brakes that small.
  14. Been playing Thief some more today. It's still sh*t, so don't waste your money on it, Decided to get Titanfall as well, so I'm downloading that now. Just want something fun and brainless.
  15. I don't know what the engine size of a Corsa VXR is. Or a current BMW 328. No reason the kid should've known really, might've been nice to inform him rather than boot it away when he was showing some interest.
  16. Any one who doesn't consider the Elise should be made to hand both Man Card and driving licence back.
  17. Not for me. Kinda removes the point of a good VTEC engine.
  18. Impossible to answer unless you know intended usage. Weekend blaster = Elise Classy sports car = Boxster NOISE = TVR
  19. I didn't do it to be malicious: I even posted up a link to the FS rules in the OP's thread too.
  20. ^^^ This. Your post didn't confirm to the FS rules, so I reported it.
