  1. The trouble is it lets users add scores, and users know nothing. Most people end up rating stuff either a 1 or a 10, depending on what they had for tea that night.
  2. And nobody like dickery
  3. The colour of the car is stunning, looks close to Mexico Blue. The girl needs to smile and lose those awful cheap tattoos. And the dippy glasses. She'd look quite lovely after that I think.
  4. I'm not sure which is unkinder on the eyes.
  5. Up to you of course, but having driven those roads I know that the Spanish bit with the sweeping parts is much more fun than the very tight (and poorly maintained) bits on the French side. Depends on what you want though. The open sweeping bits aren't nearly as dull as they look http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=D15pdZUqoSc Have to say I'm with Wasso though, the long drive through France is ultimately boring as hell.
  6. Do yourself a favour too, ignore the French bit of the Pyrenees and drop onto the N260 at Jaca, MUCH better road and one of the all-time favourite stretches recommended to me by the guys on PH. It really is awesome
  7. Kinda why I'd get the springs done as well, it's not really any more work and it's a massive safety margin.
  8. If you're not looking to raise the rev limit or use the top end power, I'm not sure I'd bother with a set of cams. Whether they'll fit or not is a different matter, but given how close they are and the cost involved in doing the work, I wouldn't fit these without also fitting better springs, false economy.
  9. Absolutely and if your prospective is Vauxhalls are better, go get one, join the vauxhalls owners forum and share your passion with "like minded" owners Agreed, nothing like popping the blinkers on and going LA LA LA CAN'T HEAR YOU to know your car is the 'best'. Why these arguments come up again and again, I've no idea. It's small minded people trying to justify their own purchase to themselves, which I really will never understand.
  10. *insert phrase about doing something correctly the first time or paying for it again here*
  11. Define 'better'. A Mondeo is better than a 458 as it can carry four people in comfort. A Corsa VXR is better than a 350Z for the same reason. All about perspective, chaps.
  12. If there is, have a word with the TDO before anything happens, if they've not spotted it already. The amount of people I hear in the pits complaining about other drivers but never actually speaking to the people in charge about is staggering.
  13. Yeah, I lolled at the weaving
  14. Just for the record, I hate online FPS games. They're boring, full of kiddies who are irritating, and just have no long-term interest for me. Except Titanfall. I had a blast with this last night, and far more fun than I should've really. You can complain about 6v6, or the 720-and-a-bit graphics, and the CoD with mechs all you like, but it doesn't detract from the the fact that this game is just really good FUN. I'm still crap at this (like I am with most FPS), but I didn't get the feeling that I was crap. I wasn't dying every minute, my kill ratio wasn't 1:10 like it usually is, and I enjoyed holding checkpoints etc. It's just a hoot, and it makes even the worst players feel like they're achieving something. It's ace. It should rightly be a system seller.
  15. I don't think anyone has
  16. Bloody chav Looks and sounds ace matey, great stuff
  17. That's not the standard that I've witnessed on the days I've done.
  18. It's all about attitude and common sense. If you do track days with other more expensive cars then they're far more worried about you, so tend to stay away a bit more Cheapy days full of numpties with crappy cars is a recipe for disaster.
  19. Wouldn't surprise me, I must admit.
  20. Many mistakes there, from all involved. Lack of awareness, lack of space, lack of courtesy, lack of talent. Very poor driving all round. This is why I pay that bit extra and go with people like BaT, who have very clear rules on stuff like this.
  21. Power is irrelevant, it's power delivery that counts. Only you can know whether you're happy to settle for lag in your FI setup. That will determine which route you go down.
  22. Mk1, about £35K. You'll need deep pockets though still, and many around that price are getting due for diff rebuilds if they've not been done.
  23. Have to say, it massively helped having driven far more laps of the track before going this time. Didn't help with the wet line unfortunately, but it was proper helpful other than that.
  24. 2WD for the men, 4WD for the girlies
  25. No. It has an AMG badge on the back but is in fact just a boggo SL500. Also, the wheels look retarded with brakes that small.
