  1. F*ck me they're hideous. Looks like a roller skate.
  2. Lol, see my post above!
  3. I doubt that too, I have to say. There's no market, even the BRZ86 is selling much less than expected. Nobody wants cheap sports cars anymore, they want premium.
  4. Sounds it Call the number I posted a few pages back, really helpful Also, I'm totally addicted to Titanfall. It's just proper immense. GO BUY NOW
  5. Ouch. I'll be amazed if they make another, y'know.
  6. Wait 6 months and the F-type will be worth about as much as a packet of pork scratchings. Have you seen how much convertibles have dropped? You'd be utterly mad to buy one of these new.
  7. Git!
  8. Find me a manufacturer that doesn't say that though! Nissan do for the Zed, Yota for the MR2, BMW for the Mini etc.
  9. Oil change every 6K is more than enough. It's the warming up/cooling down procedure that's more important (along with rad & stat). It's always a risk though, but that's why they're cheap: You're getting massive performance, classic styling (okay, so 996 styling!) and brand kudos for pennies. MA101 oil change is 20K or 2 years! Sod that.
  10. There's much more interesting roads than the Triangle in N. Wales. I've got an ITN file at home, I could just upload that and you can see the route I normally take.
  11. What t-shirt is it? I mean, which manufacturer makes it? Makes a difference to me for sizing
  12. Pull sensors out. Cut LED from dash. Job's a carrot.
  13. I am!
  14. Other way round, surely? Turbo fattens the torque curve at the bottom end. SC leaves the torque curve alone.
  15. Nope. If I need something important (insurance, tax, tyres, something broken) then it gets bought regardless and dumped on a card if necessary. Anything else I'll either save for, or just get it anyway
  16. I call BS. Not you asking them, nor their answer, but the number they gave you.
  17. A little. VTEC engines have about the same torque as a normal engine of a given size, it's just that they have a lot more power and made all high-up in the rev range so it makes the torque look artificially low. I'd vastly prefer an SC conversion on something like this so you don't lose the character of the engine, but sometimes it's hard to get people to look at the overall drive rather than outright power figures.
  18. A fraction, no-one is buying high-end stuff with a manual 'box these days. I'll be amazed if the M4 doesn't sell 80/20 in favour of the DCT.
  19. I'm not convinced the Jag would put a bigger smile on your face than the Cayman, though. 911 (GT3 aside) almost certainly, but the Boxster was universally praised above the F-convertible so I'll be interested to see what happens with the better F-coupe. That noise though
  20. Eighty. Five. Thousand. Pounds. Great car, but I wouldn't dream of paying that much for it. Boot's a bit on the tiny side still, too. I'd quite like to see this up against a Cayman GTS. That would be interesting...
  21. Speak to the guys at 911Virgin. Really nice, really helpful, if you explain your situation and if they have the cars in stock I'm sure they'll let you test a couple for comparison.
  22. The few hours before that weren't snowy, and I admit that I thought they were pretty good roads until I got to the Spain side
  23. It was last June. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=wMrTSlZj0hA Not much use given the snow, but they were night and day in terms of road quality between France and Spain. If I'd known earlier, I'd have skipped planning any decent routes in France altogether.
