  1. You clearly weren't trying hard enough
  2. Hi! Is it actually using much oil? Say, over 1000 miles?
  3. Nice, especially with the green calipers
  4. RSRs and NS-2R are closer to the R1R than the R888 though. I like the R1R as a road tyre, but for track work it's ultimately lacking in grip. Did you mean the A048? Great tyre, but hellishly expensive and the 888s is 90% of the way there.
  5. Given that the V8 'Stang is likely to run to mid £40Ks, I'd suggest that the 2.3L I4 could actually be a better car. Sure, less noise and drama, but less weight (especially over the nose) and with 300bhp+ as stock, you know that 400bhp is only an exhaust, intercooler and a remap away. Much like how the current FWD TT is actually a better drive than the Quattro TT, I wonder if that's going to be the case with the pony car too.
  6. We very nearly had Scolari, don't forget, but he didn't take it because of the crap the England manager gets from the British press. Possibly the best manager England never had, after Clough.
  7. Assuming, of course, you're happy with LHD. Personally I don't mind, but I can see why others would.
  8. Zero contest, Mustang every time. Preferably the V8, but I suspect the blown 2.3L is going to be a hoot too as it'll be lighter up front.
  9. You don't have to air your problem, but by being vague all you're doing is hurting Abbey, the members of this forum and the forum as a whole. Because no-one really knows the issue, we don't know if Abbey f*cked up a little bit, a massive bit, or whether you're making the whole thing up. I get the whole not-rocking-the-boat thing, I do, but then you might as well say nothing at all.
  10. At least one guy was filming it properly. Why couldn't we see that footage?
  11. Well, yeah. Either say what the problem was, what they did to resolve it, and what the final outcome was. Far better to be honest and open than cloak and dagger, as that helps neither forum member nor trader. Doesn't matter if they're a paid trader or random backstreet garage, it's better to know a story than guess.
  12. I know absolutely nothing about bikes. That, however, looks very cool. Nice one
  13. 2+2 rather than a 4 seater. Boot isn't exactly that big either. For a big car, space is at a premium. Still an absolute hoot though!
  14. It's for the first 90 days of ownership, I'm not surprised most things scored highly Pointless survey is pointless.
  15. On a side note, and this is wholly unprofessional and the wrong way to do it, but I normally just do the plugs up using my left hand directly above the socket. That's my weaker hand, and it gives enough torque to seal without going overboard. Like I say, not the done thing I know, but it's never failed me across many different cars and many different plug changes.
  16. "Do not shock the spark plug" *thinks* *pulls plug out of box* *looks at it* *holds it close to face* *yells "BOO!" as loudly as possible* *giggles to self childishly*
  17. That will buy him my 911. I know I'm biased, but that's a better car than anything else mentioned (excluding GTR maybe, but that won't get 35mpg on a run). Am more than happy to chat to him about it if he wants.
  18. Crappitty crap-crap. I went through three different options including a tape adaptor, an FM transmitter and a CD changer thing that didn't fit before I did the sensible thing and just replaced the head unit.
  19. Regardless of Milner's talent, you never see him put in less than 100%, I'll give him that.
  20. Good lord man, it's not been the Premiership for years! England have always had good individuals, but rarely have we ever been able to put together a decent team. Managers are always picking players based on name, not on form. That pressure comes from the FA, who have nice fat sponsorship deals lined up involving Rooney, Gerrard et al. No-one wants to pay to support a team consisting of Lallana and Lambert.
