If Brazil don't win it, they'll kick themselves. Home advantage, in form, arguably the best team there. So they won't win it. I'd have a punt on Uruguay, I think. Belgium could be a dark horse. We'll lose to Italy, probably 2-0, then another loss to Uruguay by 1-0, then a staid 0-0 draw with Costa Rica. Woy to get the boot when he gets home.

Sorry Will, didn't fancy a race tonight, I just wanted to try the Ring quickly I have to say, T10 have FINALLY got it spot-on. Ignoring the extra pixel count and pretty lighting over other versions (all Forza and GT games included), this is the first iteration where I've actually found the elevation changes to be anything like the real life version. As you come up to Ex-Muhle, it is incredibly steep and no game has ever captured that (no idea why), but here it's exactly as it is. Superb stuff. Just a shame the game launched without this, really.

Woo, free Ring DLC out now for Forza! Didn't see that one coming, I thought it would never arrive.

Just the one double points race, but I had forgotten about that. I just think Lewis' head is going to drop now.
-
Yeah, been on since October last year I think. Just wanted to try something a bit different, they'll be coming off after LM.

As a rule I tend to agree with you Pete, anything which distracts has the potential to cause problems when driving. My own concentration definitely drops off when I'm on the phone, however I managed to drive like that for years without having an accident. I think it's very much down to the individual, in so far as some people can multitask and some cannot. Hell, I see enough people everyday who are not on the phone, eating, fiddling with the radio etc who are utterly appalling drivers!

Not hugely convinced the accident was 100% Massa's fault, I thought that Perez either braked very early or came off line. Brake failure could be a great shout though. It looked bad the first time, but horrendous the second time round. Perez did well to let go of the wheel, and it's astounding how well the Massa's tub held up in that impact.

Again, not sure what Nissan use, but the liquid Toyota stuff is very, VERY good. I'd use that over anything else.

Utterly mesmerising race. So glad for DR, it's been a long time since I nearly jumped out of my chair to cheer whilst watching a race, if it couldn't be Lewis then I'm glad it's him. Rosberg has pretty much got the championship now, I think.

Use alcantara instead of suede

I drive the MR2 with headphones on, as it's just too loud otherwise. They're noise cancelling ones, and sometimes I'll put music on. Sometimes I just activate them and drive like that. Far less distracting than being partially deaf by the end of the journey

Hands up...Who cleaned their Zed this weekend..??

You need a garage Will. Be cheaper than washing it every five mins! -
Great write up, cheers bud As much as I think the 4 is the better looking car, it seems to be carrying an awful lot of bulk if you look at the figures. I'd have the 2 any day, unless I was desperate for the extra room. Isn't the gearbox the 8-spd auto though, not a dual-clutcher?

Notice the manufacturer of the tractor Started packing today, just a few bits. Need to get the beers in first!

Nissan Teases New Model That Debuts On June 10th

Just what the world needs! Can't wait! So excited! /sarcasm -
It'll bomb, sadly. TG is popular because it's an entertainment show, like Saturday Night Takeaway, and it's made for the masses. DRIVE is about cars for car fans, of which there is a much smaller number. I know which I'd rather watch, and I keep my fingers crossed for the DRIVE team.

Depends how it's used, as well. A car doing 20k up and down the motorway never going past 3000 rpm will require an oil change about the same time as a track car doing 3k miles at 7500rpm. Both cars assuming warmed up properly, of course.

I'm looking at the 12C, a V12S and a Gallardo of some kind. It would be a lot easier if 1) McLaren opened on Saturday, and 2) if I actually had some days free in the first place! All will have to wait until after LM now.
-
Not that I drive either, but I'm guessing a 2 ton truck probably isn't what you're after!

335i or 335d. /thread

Of course, many of us used to use mobile phones perfectly well without crashing and burning and running over school children every day before they changed the law. Texting is stupid, being on the phone can still leave you in full control. Much like using Bluetooth can still be a huge distraction, just depends on the driver.

Which sealant did you use? Good pics btw

Possibly a tad overloaded there! Actually, I wonder if it was? What's the max weight limit in a Zed? I've no idea!
-
I did 4400 miles in my car in 10 days last year, more than half the total annual mileage, so I wouldn't worry about that. Mileage is well under average, so just buy on condition

Drove another one today Not great colour representation there from the iPhone, but that's actually the most gorgeous pastel orange (or Rosso Dino if you prefer, although it's definitely more orange than red) and looks stunning in the flesh. Wasn't planning on driving that today, but a phone call this morning inviting me up for a spin out with a pro driver kind of convinced me to make the trip. I have to say, it was well worth the effort. Chatting with someone who understands the dynamics of the car rather than just the sales side (no disrespect meant to my salesman, who's a really nice guy) brought out a whole different side to the car. Interestingly setting the mode to Wet and the dampers to soft made the car far more usable and a lot more planted on the roads, without losing the edge you need in a car like this. The softening of the throttle sensitivity also removed my last complaint about being unable to find a stationary throttle position for cruising, and I enjoyed the drive a lot more. This one felt a bit quicker than the last one too, that might be a mental thing though as I was driving the truck today not the 911. Gorgeous weather meant that the roof stayed off, and we managed to find a short underpass where I was encouraged to give it some stick... Let's just say that between 7K and 9K RPM in an enclosed space with the roof down is an absolute moment that I'll never forget. It was almost too loud, but with a tone that I could never call deafening. I have to say, my opinion on Ferraris has definitely changed. I used to despise the flat-plane crank rattle, but it's more refined here in the 458 and I now love it. I always found the brand to be too up tight, but actually if you get the right set of guys it's a hoot. The more I drive the 458, the more I can see the appeal, and tbh my previous post referring to being disappointed with it now seems a tad harsh. I think it's a car you need to live with a bit more to really understand how good it is. I'd be happy with one of these I think, and it's a shame the next car with have two turbos strapped to it. Now, if they'd just make a Speciale Spider...
