If I do, then that's possibly the most pointless thing ever. If you can afford an Xbone, you can afford even the cheapest of 27" TVs with 1080p screens that will look a billion times better. If I wanted new gaming experiences with low resolutions, I'd be grabbing a 3DS. Sorry DT, that comes across as overly harsh and I don't mean it to, and I'm sure you have your reasons for the display, but I can't see any point to trying to bodge old tech with cutting edge. I can't imagine how awful the 360 must look running like that.

Much more, because it should be capable of much more. In exactly the same way as I want Porsche to build a 918 special without the batteries, less weight can only ever be a good thing. If the GTR being heavy is done to improve performance, why does every single team racing one strip it out? However good Nissan's engineering team are, they're probably not quite good enough to break the laws of physics.

Wait, I'm now really confused. Are you saying that you game via a projector that has a max res of 800x800?! Or have I read that completely wrong and missed something here?
-
Because if it's lighter, it will handle even better. All this nonsense from Nissan about it needing the weight is ridiculous: Yes, I could see their point if we were talking about going from 800kg to 1000kg, but we're not. 997TT weighs 200kg less and it's not like that struggles to put the power down or is a bit twitchy. I can only assume that it weighs that much due to the chassis and drivetrain, which makes you wonder just how much strain is against it. Not that's a bad thing, in fact it's a wonder of engineering, but even so I'd love to see a 1350kg version. That would be something truly special.

No dealer has ever driven any car I've ever part-ex'd. Tbh £4.5K for a part-ex seems quite fair, you then just get him to knock a grand off the Stook and you're where you need to be

Seventeen. Hundred. Kilos. Ridiculous.

Titanfall is much prettier on the X1. Forza. TR DE. DR3 still. But no, both consoles are suffering from a lack of commitment to the future. AC Unity looks to be the first game for this generation, if it's out before Destiny.

Track use has no bearing on IMS failure, or bore scoring. If anything it'll help, as you'll be circulating the fluids properly. If anything, not driving it hard when warm is the worst thing, and short trips are pretty lethal.

Who did the geo? There's a proper geo by an expert, and then there's just getting it back in the green. The chassis on these cars are so good, you'll get the best out by going to the specialists. I take it you didn't get an inspection done before hand? If not, and at fear of terrifying you, google RMS and especially IMS failure. Also there's a chance of bore scoring, which the LTT can help prevent which is why I mentioned it.

Do it. Cars should be a passion, go with your heart.

I would need nothing more than an RS6 Avant, an Exige Roadster and a 997.2 GTS for my garage. Sure, a hypercar would be nice but I'd be perfectly content with the above. Performance in spades. That said, a CGT would be lovely to have too

Great choice Get the Hartech low temp stat fitted to protect your investment, as well as some front mesh for the rads & condensers. Go see Chris at Center Gravity for a geo too, the man is a genius

Decided to power wash my car and this happened.

I don't think people realise just how careful you have to be when using a jet washer on cars, for this very reason. You should only use the minimum power required, and keep a good distance back from the car whilst keeping the angle of the spray to the car at 45deg max. Good excuse for a front end spray now, anyway! Hope you get it fixed soon bud -
if Suarez leaves (which I expect him to), Liverpool will not be challenging for the title next year. Sure, £80M goes a long way, but it won't bring another trophy to Anfield. Barca are seriously going down in my view as moral guardians of football. First the dodgy Neymar deal, now desperately courting a player with the history of Luisito. Not impressed.

DREAM CARS DUDE, DREAM CARS!!! Why have a sheddy Freelander when you could have the FFRR, or an X5M, or an ML65, or anything else that's much better?! Reach for the stars bro!
-
Why the hell would you want a Freelander??!!

Hi! New owner, I am 18 by the way... :D Pic heavy.

NO BOX EVER I would pay £4K to be able to drive with no box. -

Wow, that's some first post! First off, fair play for getting one whilst so young, that's proper ace. I think you have paid too much for a pre-facelift '06, hopefully you got one before the tax increase at least! Definitely not a Nismo exhaust, and whilst you can post links to the vid if you want there's no point as there's no way we can identify it from noise. Get some more pics of the exhaust itself, of any markings etc. Bin the runflats ASAP, they're a stupid idea even on boggo BMWs much less a sports coupe. You'll need to replace both struts at the rear, doing one side only can cause some serious handling issues. -
Don't think stone chips have ever been a problem for Porches. Hailstones and tramps sleeping inside them, maybe. Good luck, but you'll struggle to do this for less than the big boys for the same quality, I feel. Needs to be good stuff too or it'll yellow quickly.

Sod that, I'd get them to deliver every time. That's a no brainer on a white goods car where they're not likely to shower you in champagne.

As an off-the-wall recommendation, don't discount Glyn Hopkin Nissan in Stortford. Yes, they're main dealer, but they're also VERY good there. I used to use them for stuff on my old one as they were ace, and very flexible on warranty items too IYSWIM Yes, the other guys mentioned are excellent and will likely be cheaper, but don't forget to factor in the cost of fuel to travel there and back. Also, if you're free on Saturday and fancy meeting some fellow owners and ex-owners

Really? I find them tedious as hell.

DC5 came out in 2001, so allowing for last minute changes that's a 14 year old design. It's rather sad that was the last decent handling Honda

Masses of power, but still not as good to drive as the M135i by all accounts. Tbh there's two levels of hot hatch now: The budget (Renault, Vauxhall, Ford) and the premium (Audi, Merc, BMW). Quite where the GTI fits in, I don't know.
