It's not just in the highway code, it's also now in the RTA and you can get an FPN for it. And no, sadly it's not enforced because we have less trafpol to enforce it, plus speed is easy to enforce via cams. Which is a shame.

Okay, so yeah it does grind my gears a bit to see these threads every single day BUT it is a really nice sentiment and it's a good idea to make people feel part of the community, so I reckon we just keep them all together then every one's a winner

Can we get one please? It's obvious that the trend for wishing every person and their dog a happy birthday is going to continue, so I reckon it would be easier on all (as well as look tidier on the forum) if we had one single official Sticky birthday thread in OTD where we can all share in the birthday love Sound like a good idea?

Never stops me, I usually sit on 80 on the speedo which is maybe 75? Never going to get stopped doing a steady speed like that But have you properly overtaken one, not just changed lanes?

I don't understand how he had been so impressive over the last couple of years, but utterly useless in Brazil. Different role and different team, granted, but surely he's not actually this awful?

Have to say though, that's the first time I've ever been in a position to properly overtake a police car (as opposed to changing lane on a DC or MW) and I always wondered if I'd have the balls to do it!

Ah, the speedo said 63 but I reckon that was 61 absolute tops in the real world. Safe as houses! It's why I cruise at 75 on the motorways. Quick enough yo overtake all those sitting bang on 70, but never going to get stopped.
