  2. You're not starting a new policy in that case, you're simply removing a driver from your existing policy. You won't lose any NCB. What was your old postcode out of interest? The new one doesn't exactly look high risk to me, but I'm not local to that area.
  3. I do shuffle (or at least, not stay rigid quarter to three) a bit more on the roads in 'regular' driving, purely as it makes the drive a little more relaxing. It's a technique I'm pinching from police driving, having read through Reg Local's books as well as watching his videos. Essentially it gives me a more flexible approach to my driving, so I can be smooth and in control regardless of whether on track or on the roads.
  4. As in I was, or I wasn't? Pretty sure I always hold that wheel at quarter to three, but then it's not something I consciously look for.
  5. As long as the oil stays below 120c, it's fine. An oil cooler of pretty much any kind will help massively.
  6. Redline in 5th? *grabs popcorn*
  7. I'm up for karaoke if Steve is...
  8. After I did all the suspension and engine stuff But yes, there's a certain irony in there
  9. There was, whether it's still there or not I don't know. It's not as realistic, but it is as much fun. Even if I can't drift for sh*t
  10. Every one is on FH3 now. Check the gaming thread for more details

Not sure how the actual rates differ between 370 and 350, but try running them at 10 from hard at the front and 13 from hard at the rear: That was about the best balance I could find on the 350, without sacrificing too much quality and accounting for some iffy surfaces in deepest darkest Essex.
  12. Air duct, some people cut those in to supply air to the (presumably) cone filter kit you can install.
  13. That said, something is worth what someone else will pay for it, not what you paid for it.
  14. The only issue with carpet tiles is that when you spill fluids on them, they're going to soak it up like a sponge. Do that often and you're going to be replacing tiles a lot, which could be a pain depending on how you fix them down. I'm not saying don't use them (they're what I'm going to use for mine), just be aware of the limitations.
  15. http://kotaku.com/mafia-iii-is-seriously-glitchy-1787634269 Check out the video at the bottom, it's hysterically bad
  16. In desperate needs of a patch, if the vids on Twitch/YT are anything to go by
  17. AppleTV 4.
  18. Needs more colour. Like a neon green, or a yellow, or something. Promising work
  19. Haha so is it not good? May be worth upgrading to 4K box? I believe it has rj45 port and a bit more meatier. Reviews suggests that it supports 4K streaming over wifi without any problems. So I guess for normal and HD use it will be spot on. No chance wifi can support full bitrate 4K, it struggles with 1080p. Theoretical limits on wifi are great, but in the real world it just won't cope. For Netflix-quality 4K though, it's probably fine. 4K is a very short lived fad, HDR offers far more benefits for a much lower cost for content producers, and a higher quality product for the end user too. But I digress, that's another rant for another day My ATV4 box is just about the best multimedia box I've used, but obviously you pay top dollar for it and it has limitations when you're trying to run hooky software/access pirate streams. For Plex and Netflix though, it's superb. Exactly my issues too! No proper multi-channel audio makes it a very poor solution for people who have even a low-end surround setup.
  20. Ah, it looks like that's the one I've actually got anyway Ah well, not to worry.
  21. What I really want is a Firestick with an RJ45 input. Didn't realise there was a dual core one now, will have to look into that as one of the biggest downsides to the current one is that it's just not meaty enough. Cheers for the heads up Vlad
  22. 921,600 vs 2,073,600. That's the pixel count difference between 720 and 1080. Now imagine the weather is a bit crap, it's a bit grey, it's a bit rainy, and someone nudges you. You check your footage and you need to zoom in a bit to get all the detail on the number plate of the knobber that drove into you. Wouldn't you rather have more than twice the amount of pixels to be able to do that? For general TV watching 720p is fine for pretty much everybody, but with something like this unless you give yourself the very best chance possible chance to capture a moment in time, it's verging on a waste of money. The time when someone scrapes alongside your car and drives off, and the footage isn't clear enough in 720p, are you really going to be happy you saved a hundred quid?
  23. I think the price is fair, considering. Maybe just the time of year, people starting to save for Xmas?
  24. Anything you put in the window is going to attract thieves. It's not there for that purpose, it's there for when knobheads drive into my car With the comprehensive software and the iOS app, I really don't think the BlackVue can be beaten for that price.
  25. That's really not expensive Cheaper than your excess, and will pick out number plates in anything other than pitch black. I um'd and ah'D over getting a cheaper one, then realised it was pointless if the optics didn't do what I asked of them.
