Audi If they leave WEC next year and let Porsche fly the VW brand, then they could definitely shake things up IF they buy the right team. I wonder how close they were to buying RBR when that team were struggling to find an engine for this year? F1 definitely needs a structure change. Not getting rid of Bernie as he's done so much good to the sport (genuinely, go read No Angel by Tom Bower), but those that run it alongside him. The new owners could be very good for the sport. Half the issue is the teams themselves, under the Concorde agreement that does nothing but line the pockets of Ferrari and, to a lesser extent, McLaren. Really F1 could do itself a huge favour by refusing to pander to the Prancing Horse, let Maranello leave and carry on without them. Ferrari need F1 as much as the reverse is true, but no-one has ever had the balls to test them.

Go back a bit here. Which entry road were you both coming from onto the roundabout? I assume 12 o'clock, and you were both going straight over? Tbh regardless, this is going down as a 50/50. He'll say you pulled across into him, and without any witnesses you're pretty much stuffed as that could be the true version. We know it's not, but that's going to be hard to argue. Maybe it'd go 75/25, but that's no comfort. Now, you may get lucky and the insurers do find you not at fault, but I wouldn't count on it. I got lucky with my claim back in April when I fully expected that to be 50/50 so it does happen, but plan for the worst. If that were me, I'd wait until they decide then simply cancel your side of the claim and get the car fixed yourself. That's not a huge amount of damage and it's only on the door, and it's a better idea than selling up. Sure, you'll have to declare the accident but that won't push your price up too much if at all, and you'll keep your NCB. Remember, you have the right to cancel the claim right up until the point where the insurance start shelling out, so even if you take it to a garage to get a quote (and I would do this off my own back), you can still walk away with your NCB. I have other various pieces of advice too, but they can wait until you're more relaxed. For now though, don't panic and remember that this is easily sortable, it will just take a bit of care and thought.

Horsepower isn't the issue (i7, 12GB, 980 on my main PC!), after all it's just an internet link to a stream.
-
I don't have a separate Kodi box, I use the software on my full PC. Maybe it's just the links on mine then, but they're nothing more than acceptable and in SD. Do you have links for a full HD stream then?
-
Define perfect? For me, it'll be stable up until the point it disappears completely, but in terms of quality it's SD at best. And no 5.1 either! This is all on 40meg.
-
And probably soon, since there's a court case going on now to determine their legality and you can guess which way that's going to end up. Trouble with those boxes, and indeed all those internet-based things, is that the quality is dreadful compared with the real thing. I've yet to find a stream that's HD and stable, and whilst SD is fine on a phone when you put it on a TV it looks shocking.

Oh I agree, F1 did try some silly things but then realised how duff they were and changed back. BTCC still haven't realised that yet I dunno, I get why people find it exciting but for me it's just far too random, and to me that's not racing: That's a lottery. In fairness I dislike WEC when they try and faff around with the BOP rules as well, like this year when they wrecked the Aston and Porsche GT cars just so that there would be a Ferrari vs Ford battle in GTP. That's also stupid fiddling nonsense.
-
I watched the final yesterday. It was utter chaos, nothing made any sense, it was all so random rather than the best drivers actually winning. Pulling a ball out of a hat to pick grid position was just bonkers
-
We had a PR vote, nobody cared enough to want it. I quote like the idea of a coalition too, the last one worked much better than I thought it would, but there's no chance of that until the LD can convince people they're not just slaves to whoever gets in, and until Corbyn leads the Labour party to destruction and they split.
-
I wish we could enforce that 51% for general elections. I'd rather enforce an IQ test before being allowed to vote.
-
I'd ditch F1 if they started faffing around with reverse grids and ballast and all that nonsense, same reason I don't watch BTCC. F1 has been and should always be about the best drivers in the best teams in the best cars winning. Okay, so now the car has a MASSIVE say in it, but you can't say that the last few championship winners aren't some of the best drivers out there (Button perhaps the exception), and even if the car is good a rubbish team won't help (thinking Ferrari team calls in the last couple of years).
-
Indeed, it's all fiddling but it's all they've got right now. Wider tyres and more downforce will see much faster cars, and they'll be more physical to drive too. That could mean that the less technical but more physical guys can get amongst it, potentially.
-
I've stopped watching, for the most part. I cancelled my Sky sub in August, so I'm limited to crappy C4 coverage anyway, and in a couple of years I'll have nothing. The trouble with F1 is that when it's good it's unbeatable, it's just that that doesn't happen very often. Maybe with the rule change next year, but I doubt it. It's like football: If it's on and I'm at a loose end I'll watch it, but I won't go out of my way to see it at all costs.
-
What tyres is it on? But yes, those cars are noisy. Not as noisy as the 370, but still not quiet.

Doom is epic fun! I caved and bought FH3 because Stevo kept pestering me. Good thing too, as I bloody love it now What made the difference was replacing the LHS thumbstick with the taller one on the Elite controller, made everything less twitchy and more controllable.
-
I would. It's been gifted to Roscheat by an appalling lack of engineering quality on one side of the garage.
-
I keep forgetting it's on there when I open the boot after it's been raining: Lift it up and the water falls off, soaking me every single time
-
Refill via the expansion tank, not the rad. It works in an identical way to the tank you have on a central heating system, it's pumped round and any excess is pushed back into it. The tank is higher than the rad, look at the top level fill mark

Does she take requests? Master Of Puppets please! Must've taken a lot of practice to get there, how long has she been playing again? And how old is she?
-
Like every BGW just slapped on a regular production car, it does two halves of f*ck all
-
Just wax so far, haven't got round to coating it yet. It'll be having a dose of SiRamik SC15 soon though.
-
Thanks guys Total cost was IRO £2500, not entirely sure as I had the roof done separately aaaages ago. Still holding up very well, and we might well get the Impreza done too at some point. Not the same colour, mind!

Always orange!

As a very rough rule, if you can't see their front numberplate in your RVM then they're too close. Brake testing utterly retarded and the most moronic thing you can do, Also, when overtaking if you wait until you can see the entire car in your RVM then that's a safe distance to pull back in front of them. Was taught that years ago, really handy to know

Better than current, yes. Still a generic piece of angled garbage though. Are Ford and Renault literally the only people who can design a decent small car these days?
