  1. Not on 20", all been 19" so far no?
  2. It's a number 2 I have, close enough
  3. Low CoG definitively, and drag too as they don't need a radiator, but we're years away from them ever being low weight. Trouble is, with the weight of all those batteries is it worth spending extra on lightweight materials for the structure?
  4. Bet he didn't give a toss now he's sold up and bought a grey car after all
  5. Cheers guys Saw the surgeon yesterday, sadly my op to remove the gallbladder won't take place until after Le Mans now, which is a bit of a pain as eating healthy there is not the easiest thing to do. Still, it's the right move long term so can't complain, and at least I'll be ok for my trip to Florida later this year. The infection seems to have gone now mostly, so there's no pain anymore. Trouble is, after three weeks in bed I'm exhausted just doing simple things like walking to the hairdresser (5 mins away!) so need to build my fitness up again. However, I have lost 8lbs over that time period (not including The Turd From Hell) so swings and roundabouts

    Feather Wrap...

I really, really hate AFD. None of these 'jokes' are remotely funny in the slightest. Harumph.
  7. Who is doing the install? For peace of mind on the warranty side of things, I'd go with whatever our installer says. If you're doing it yourself, then I agree with Olly and go with the manufacturer's advice.

  9. What size tyres are you running? And are you lowered at all? A Zed (assuming 350, you don't say though), even on 20" wheels, should be able to be put into the OEM settings as long as it's not lowered. With bigger wheels, all you're doing is swapping metal for rubber, so everything else should stay the same. I mean, it's going to move by fractions, but not enough that someone shouldn't be able to get it back to OEM.
  10. EVs definitely don't lend themselves to low-weight vehicles, or at least they don't right now.
  11. Napalm or GTFO

    ARGH FLASHBACK
  13. I also spotted in EVO this month that the new CTR comes on 20" wheels as standard. TWENTY INCH F*CKING WHEELS ON A HATCHBACK. Utterly ridiculous. That's miles too big.

    Def needs gold wheels.
  15. Tighten your belt if it's a bit too loose
  16. I think my mum still has hers somewhere, y'know. Probably worth a fortune now if you can flog it to a hipster!
  17. It's something your grandkids had the pleasure of using
  18. Amending in ink is fine. How do you think people used to do it before typewriters, or why they still make you sign it with an actual pen?
  19. Which is ironic, since everyone seems to think that taking a car to Nissan is pointless because their techs don't know anything
  20. The AA don't want the risk of modified vehicles, simple as. Just tell them that as far as you know there's no power gain, it's just for looks. Or swap insurer.

No chance for the non-cooking models, as the 2+2 is a massuve reason they sell so well. GT cars maybe, but the tooling costs are enormous. Nope, can't see it happening for many, many years.
  22. Someone has broken that, I reckon.
  23. Rome in May, then Le Mans in June, then Florida in August. Although it's only the LM trip that StevoD will be accompanying me on, not Florida as well

Audi A7 is the worst example. It can look cool on some cars (P1, for instance) but for the most part I tend to agree. I was never a fan of the 9x7 era at Porsche when it came to moveable spoilers.

It'll work the same way the current Panamera does, in terms of lighting. It'll be interesting to see what Porsche do engineering-wise with the car. I don't expect the engine location to cone any further forward than the 991, but how much more tech will they pack into the suspension? We already have 4 wheel steer, I'd expect that to become standard on the S if not the whole range. We have hydraulic ARBs, adaptive dampers, so what else? And just how much bloody quicker does it need to be? I'd expect the S to be knocking on the door of 450bhp, so if they keep the weight the same (likely, Porsche do like their lightweight materials now) then it's going to be an absolute weapon.
