  1. The hasn't been lowered, all I'm trying to achieve is even wear without unnecessary friction, want it running straight and true. The tyres are 245/35 20 in the front and 285/30 20 in the rear (got the mpss) Getting them done with the 18" settings seems to be the general consensus so I'll give it another go at a local garage. Thank you all for your advice!
  2. You can visually see the negative camber on the front and back, I'll try to reduce the file size of some pics and post them.. I'm just hoping that I don't have to buy whole new wheels after getting these ones new rubber!
  3. Thank you for the fast response Paul! I don't mind the drive at all, I'll look them up and give them a call! I'd be happy spending a bit more on adjustable arms too.. I don't fancy spending 1k every few thousand miles on the tyres!!
  4. Hello. Firstly, sorry sorry and sorry again.. I'm sure this topic has been covered time and gain but I've spent quite a while trying to find info and been unsuccessful! Just a link to the relevant thread would be greatly appreciated! My Zed has 20'' wheels all round (as I bought it) and the inner edges, esp on the front were worn bald. I had new tyres fitted all round and just went to have the alignment etc sorted.. I was told the data for the car with those wheels didn't exist! So was turned away (thanks Kwik Fit)! I then called around a couple of performance specialists and was told the chassis would need modifying to sort the negative camber!!! Does anyone know of a place that can sort this or if it can be sorted without massive mods to the car? (I'm in South London) Sorry once again to the more experienced members for posting something that you've probably all gone over before! Cheers. Sam.
  5. Yeah, two front tyres are illegal and two rears on the limit.. can't get them sorted until next weekend (mothers day) but searched on here for what to go for and sounds like the mpps are a good shout! This forum is a god send!
  6. Me too! Got my first Zed today! Four and a half hour drive there to pick it up and the same return.. It's my first quick car and upgrading from a 1.6 MGTF so the return leg was quite a baptism by fire!.. Such an experience to drive! LOVE IT!! I bought it from 'Z Legend' member JetSet (Pete) and what a pleasure it was.. He and his wife were the nicest and most welcoming people!! Car is in amazing shape, new tyers, banana arm and small bits and bobs maybe then, the fun upgrades will begin!
