  1. Lack of acceleration will be because of the bigger turbos so more lag (interestingly if you read recent drives that people have done with the standard P1, they've gone from "electric motors mean no lag at all" to "well, there still is a bit of lag there" so I suspect initial thoughts were clouded by excitement), although it's all going to be relative. I think he was fiddling with brake bias or wing adjustment or cooling or simply holding something on that was about to fall off rather than grabbing the downshift paddle. Bearing in mind it's one big piece of metal, so you can achieve the same result by pushing the up paddle away from you should you wish. Interestingly the 720 has known to change gear back to the one you were in if you flick the paddle too quickly
  2. Perfect, thanks Lexx.
  3. General question to those who know Coventry, is there likely to be any spaces in the Bishop Street car park? Or am I best just to head for the Belgrade Plaza one?
  4. Yup, rip it off and throw it away, then carry on as normal.
  5. It's not faster, but by all accounts it doesn't feel that much slower by much. Having a conversation with some friends last night, and we all came to the same conclusion that the P1 has dated very, very quickly when compared with the LaFerrari and the 918. I mean it's still amazing, but doesn't look anywhere near as fresh as it did when it came out. The other two do.
  6. The dealer should provide you with a HPI check for gratis, bit late now you've paid for your own though.
  7. Well I think it matters quite a lot if you're claiming to have set a new one
  8. Not from the factory though I'll watch the vids a bit later, but what record have they actually broken?
  9. Agreed, that battery is now knackered so replace it. But sort the fans ASAP.

    Spacer too large >.<

15mm all round will be fine, as Adrian says. I wouldn't be faffing around with 10mm either. 5mm is nothing, look at it on a tape measure, no way you'd tell by eye alone on a car especially when the arches aren't square anyway.
  11. Utter nonsense. When you buy the car you get the V5 anyway! That said, you're buying from a dealer, so it's not really an issue. Just make sure you put at least £100 of the cost on a credit card, and get to see the HPI check that they should do for you. I've never bothered inspecting a V5 when buying from a dealer, nor will I ever tbh.
  12. Sounds to me like it's not actually charging properly. Have you tried taking it for a proper run, or are you sitting there on the drive stopping and starting it?
  13. Maybe, I always thought that B2S1 would be the pre-cat one, and B2S2 would be post-cat.
  14. Ah you're practically one of us now, it's them bloody haggis-lovers that give me the heebie-jeebies
  15. Hang on, no-one told me we were inviting foreigners...
  16. And hundreds of other guys too
  17. It will, but you'll need to put it together yourself. Speak to the traders on here first, they'll get you the correct one that's plug and play
  18. Tbh I've never seen a code suffixed with a P before, but seeing as the number doesn't change I'm not sure I'd worry too much about it. Change the sensor and see if they both go, I'm betting they do.
  19. Dodgy O2 sensor, replace and all should be fine. It's Bank 2 Sensor 1, but I'll let someone else tell you exactly which one that is as I'm having a brainfart and can't remember for the life of me which side of the engine that is!
  20. Like that?
  21. I don't fancy your chances on that much
  22. When your engine is f*cked.
  23. That's awesome
  24. I hake to tell you, but it's for eel.
