    GTR raffle

Nowt against GT-Rs at all, it's giving a reasonable sum of money via unsecured funds to an unlicensed raffle to a complete stranger (granted, I am aware of Jurgen via the industry) that just doesn't seem like the greatest idea in the world.

    GTR raffle

    And yet, still no.

    GTR raffle

    Not in a billion years.
  4. Forgive this one Davey as I really don’t mean this to come out as personal as it’s going to sound matey, but how can you so easily dismiss potentially conflicting scientific theories offering alternative evidence so easily, yet shrug it off when gaping holes in religious texts are presented?
  5. Dogma is one of my favourite films of all time. It’s just so absolutely subtle in the destruction of religion, totally cutting yet brilliantly humorous. Never seen a bad Kevin Smith film.

    Nismats!

I like those, they’re very smart.
  7. For someone who doesn’t believe the world is flat, Davey does a really good job sticking his head in the sand to pretend it is. Bravo sir!
  8. It was a publicity stunt, nothing more. Please tell me you didn’t expect anything else?
  9. Don’t spend too long long on the things you can’t fix, just worry about the things you can. Don’t ever be afraid to say no to people, and that includes family as well as colleagues. Sometimes the only person you need to worry about is actually you.
  10. Can you actually feel any difference though? That’s what really matters ultimately.
  11. Correct, just over a litre iirc. I really hope you didn’t put 3-4 litres in to take it back to maximum...
  12. Wet weather is fine, it’s the freezing cold they hate.

    Back 2 Bizzness

A video about a drift build, and I didn’t skip a single bit? Surely not! But lo, ‘tis true. Bloody good vid there, I really enjoyed that.

    New Car!!

Negative lift is basically a fancy way of saying that the car really isn’t very stable, so the best they can do is reduce lift rather than create any meaningful downforce 66lbs is about 30kg, so naff all.
  15. Now we just need every other manufacturer to do the same, and the world will be a better place
  16. 38 now, but even back in the day when I had a car on chrome wheels I never drove like a bellend. Time and a place and all that.
  17. I think those kind of drivers are f*cking idiots, as are their mates for not stopping them.
  18. At least I’m not going mad! Cheers dude
  19. I’m sure I’ve posted on this thread previously...
  20. Is that not Le Mans Blue in the UK?
  21. If it's justr a refurb, then no. if you're changing colour then I would, just to be safe.
  22. ^^^ This. Tell them everything. They may not give a toss, or they may want to cancel your insurance if you do, but you really don't want to be worrying about that if you've had an accident.
  23. Ooh now there’s a question, what’s uglier: CTR, Supra, Griff or Senna??
  24. I know your comment was meant partly in jest, but the 911 is a good example to use actually. It gets a facelift every four years, and each time you can see the minor improvements that bring the car up to date without making it look obnoxious. Well, apart from the current Turbo/S that is way too fussy at the rear. Most manufacturers work to a four year refresh give or take, I think. Even something like a Fiesta can look more modern once updated, but where the FT1 was once fresh it’s now been surpassed in outlandish angles by anything Lexus, Infiniti and the new Griff. It’s dated before it’s even out.
  25. General consensus on PH is that the pics are squashed up, which makes sense if you look at the proportions. Still not pretty, but better. The trouble is that the FT1 was unveiled four years ago now. Four years is a long time in the automotive world, and what once looked new and fresh now looks awkward and dated. We've not really seen the design evolve at all.
