  1. Nonsense. The current F80 M3 wants for 5w-30, for example.
  2. Never read any of his books, guess it makes sense they tried to do TV Clarkson in there to maximise sales. Shame though.
  3. In fairness the only box it doesn’t tick is the light one. It’s quick, good handling, involving, plenty of room for kids in the back plus you’ll easy get 35mpg on a motorway run. But it definitely ain’t light
  4. My thoughts too, pretty much word for word, although I'd forgotten about the limp mode when the oil gets too hot so that's a great shout.
  5. His written stuff is excellent, it's the TV persona I find grating.
  6. Not that I disagree with you at all Rich, but why not 5w50? Wondering if your reasons agree with mine.
  7. I’ll be amazed if they’re still around that long. Not a cheap shot, I really mean that: There’s only so long you can carry on putting out sub-standard kit before consumers get fed up, and making loss after loss before investors get fed up. With the traditional competition now heading EV-ward, I’m not sure there’s a future for Tesla as a car company. Not an independent one, anyway.
  8. As long as it agrees with mine, then post away my friend! I think the really interesting stuff is going to happen when SpaceX start doing exactly the same missions as NASA is doing, but cheaper, quicker and more efficiently. At that point there's going to be a lot of twitchy bums in seats at government level...
  9. Throw my weight around? Nope, but I’ll call a bullsh*tter out when I see one. Sorry if that offends you. It does tend to mean that I do pick up when someone consistently spouts nonsense, which I guess means it does look like I’m following you around. I guess if you want to stop me criticising you, then stop being quite so aggressive with your posts about the tinfoil hat stuff. If I don’t believe in what you say then so what? You don’t see me getting abusive towards people who follow a certain faith or not. That’s basically what you’re doing, and it won’t win you any favours here. What car I own is irrelevant. If you want to be picky though, I’d suggest my knowledge of Zeus is significantly higher than yours given I’ve been working with them for well over a decade now. And sorry Col. Genuinely sorry.
  10. Sorry, I posted as you did, mine was meant as a follow up to my own post a minute before Bad timing all round!
  11. This is my point though, if you’re going to have a attitude like that then that’s why no one is ever going to take you seriously.
  12. Wow. You’ve got issues dude. And that, I do believe.
  13. I’ll occasionally use a bit of DJSN spray or some Blackfire stuff which is better but I can’t remember the name now. I’ve got some SiRamik coating spray that’s supposed to be used as a sacrificial layer when doing coatings I prefer to use these days as a final top off.
  14. Which is exactly why I take zero notice of stuff like that. Treat people with contempt and that’s what you get in return. Give me a reasoned non-tinfoil hat argument and I’ll listen.
  15. DJSN is an excellent wax, if a little pricey, but a pleasure to work with. Red Mist isn’t a great sealant, but it is a superb glass cleaner! I need to get sone more actually, you’ve just reminded me.
  16. This is why I have little faith in HPCs, these guys are supposed to be experts but can’t figure out how to get suspension settings correct? Worrying.
  17. Brodit. The answer is always Brodit. Best brackets you’ll ever find for any vehicle.
  18. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-42980841 Going well for Tesla then But don’t worry, they’re totally going to make profits this year. Definitely.
  19. He wishes. And I bet he really does, too. I admire his aspirations, and he has some superb tech people working for him, but the guy is a weapons-grade bell end.
  20. What DJ Pro did you use?
  21. 255/35/19 285/35/19 As Nic already mentioned, just get those in MPS4S. Job's a carrot.
  22. Decent pads and discs will help. Exactly what ones did you buy? Brembo discs are generally good, but I don't rate their regular pads at all. It's very important to make sure you don't sit there with your foot on the brakes in the paddock when you've just come off track though, as this is what normally causes it. Also make sure you do a proper cool down lap, which is one lap without touching the brakes at all. Best way to clear a disc is either skimming them or you can try a bedding in procedure again.
  23. No idea what you're doing with your links lately fella, but that's just taking us back to the start of the page. https://cleantechnica.com/2018/02/03/munro-compares-tesla-model-3-build-quality-kia-90s/ That should work, I think.
