  1. Black GTR with black wheels MF09 *** looks the dogs ........not so keen on the black wheels though. Its in front of building and everyone and I mean everyone has noticed it! ...... ................ OK today I snapped a pic of it - very corporate type people driving it! Think everyone likes it although a few have mentioned its a bit chavvy!
  2. Eek ..... next thing Husky will be down the vets getting his manhood removed with a bread knife
  3. ouch sorry to hear that Colin they can be swines to reverse sometimes
  4. Hope you get it sorted son Colin - btw why you worrying whats behind you - normally your leaving everyone in a cloud of dust!
  5. Tis alright. Thanks for the advice. I'll have a further look at Imports Direct. The only issue there is that in my case Imports cost me quite a bit more to insure (and I've done the homework on insurance companies), so not sure whether that'd be a good idea. Thanks though. Any help much appreciated. Hi Sasha Imports dont necessarily cost more to insure (my other halfs was cheaper than my UK car) - Chris knott are pretty good for quotes - keep shopping about and there is no difference between them btw - so its really down to postcode more than anything (and age I suppose?)
  6. Blimey a hot topic indeed 5 pages now...... the local council don't like cars at all here and have surrounded the estate with bumps and potholes I have to drive in the middle of the road to avoid damage and mine is boggo height !!!! I think there is an EU standard height and size look on t'web but if wrong the council will change them because of fear of being sued for damage ..... worth pursuing I think ?
  7. to the forum - import or UK built in same factory , same cars! Yours looks ace mate - like the wheels too
  8. Got something similar on mine - Falkens fitted Lockwood and Greenwood put a spare set of wheels with the factory Bridgestones on and the noise was a lot less, again they thought feathering of the front tyres and also the patterns on the tread causing the noise - I am not 100% convinced but will take it back to Westway Oldham to check while in for some warranty work. Maybe worth a test though - put another set of wheels on (if you have access to do this)
  9. Looks ace Stew when you launching your detailing company you can borrow the van and I will take the pictures
  10. In the interest of security I would not recommend anyone posts up the answer here in the public domain! I would suggest you forget the Nissan dealers and get hold of a mobile alarm fitting person - they will be able to diagnose and resolve your issue - the 350Z is just a normal car like any other protected by the same Nissan gear that anything else is - import or otherwise. Hope this helps and you get it sorted soon? BTW to the forum
  11. to the forum ! you don't need to wait till you get a zed to join in the fun .... hope you get one soon?
  12. Hmm funny you should mention bumpers - I was thinking of colour coding them white - but its a faff to fill and sand the little grain on them ?? Not sure though quite like the look of them (Caravelle models have that) I was tempted to do a dual tone on the body panels but it will probably end up looking like bread delivery van!
  13. Come on Bronzee you've just photoshoped the road signs - that was this years Wales run out! Naa just kidding looks great - especially like the 240Z's (grandad!)
  14. Yup agree - usual stuff! Unfortunately I've had this with Toyota's a lot, Suzuki have the same but my RX -8 had no issues what so ever !! Should'nt be an issue just get them back to Nissan. The topcoat is'nt very good on Jap alloys - especially as a lot of the designs have a sharp edge - the paint is thinest there and its easily efected by our Salted roads as Chris has mentions - the paint lifts and off you go!
  15. In my fave blue however almost did not notice it .....very underwelmed.... looks short fat and too tall .. shame but it just did sod all for me.
  16. Wow nice one Jayski - looks fab there mate - looking forward to seeing it in the flesh in 3 weeks time

    Alcantara?

Dont bother with Fleabay and get it straight from a proper trimming supplies wholesalers ( this is mine - they have always been very good and you get the decent stuff) http://www.segalmotortrimmings.net/www. ... cat=144072 £30+VAT / metre here for your alcantara. Hope this helps. In some cases real leather is actually cheaper than the polyester based copy but it only comes in cow spapes not a 54" roll!
  20. Thanks Alex Its just to keep the Beetle from dissolving while it patiently waits outside for its turn to be restored...........
