  1. I'm going to reduce the price down to £1,200 until the end of Feb, would be helpful to have them gone before I move house
  2. Hi All,Since I no longer own a Z I've decided to sell the wheels that were on it. I've just had them refurbish by Prestige Wheels in Birmingham and they look amazing. They are the Volk Racing TE37 Time attack edition sizes are:Front - 19x9 +22 OffsetRear - 19.10.5 +22 OffsetLooking for £1,800 collection from Berkshire preferred but can ship as they are all already boxed up.Please see pics belowThanksJon
  3. I might be looking to part ways with my Volk TE37 Time Attacks (Black with red rim) they do need a refurb but they are amazing looking wheel wheels and pretty rare. The sizes are 19x9.5/19.10.5
  4. I don't think it'll help but thanks lol 50mm was a bit of an exaggeration, more like 10-15mm but it is higher and still rubbing, it would seem like it has to be a shock, drop link issue and just a coincidence it was noticeable just after the tyres were changed.
  5. Thanks, I've done this and they don't feel different at all, both side are firm to push down and bounce back quickly. If the shock was busted I would have thought I would have noticed before and not only immediately after the new tyres were fitted.
  6. Yes I have, if I'm honest don't really know what i'm looking/listening for, but no rubbing or noise from the damper when I do though
  7. Thanks, Doesn't seem to be any damage on the wheel arch, it could be toe arm, drop link issue but just odd it wasn't happening before. So could be the tread pattern/size difference but odd its just on the offside. The nearside is now lower than the offside, but isn't rubbing
  8. I've been running 235/35/19 on the front and 275/35/19 on the rear of my Zed for about 3 years, With Tein Superstreet coilovers, which were fully set up and been running perfectly since then. I had to change my tyres a few weeks ago, I had Falken 452's and really liked them, unfortunately they don't seem to be making these anymore so went for the newer 453's hoping they been as good (in the same size) After the tyre change the rear offside is rubbing on the wheel arch when I go round a hard left hand bend or hit a largeish bump. I have raised the coilover by about 50mm its now higher than the near side and its still rubbing, I can't work out why after the tyre change its started to rub. My worry is that the shock absorber is on its way out, would this explain the rubbing in compression? If not any ideas on why this has happened? Any help would be appreciated Cheers Jon
  9. Oh also, do what I call 'off the bike running' Basically go for a session on the bike get straight off and go for a run, don’t go far but need to practice running this way as your legs will feel very very strange, but you'll see the feeling will go after 10-15 minutes.
  10. Event looks good. I do marathon and done a few triathlons, going to take the tris more sereiously next year. My advice for the run would be, listen to your body, if you feel like you need to slow down, then do. Likewise if you feel like you can push then do. You'll be surpirse what your body can do, most of the pain etc will be in your head. but my biggest peice of advice would be don't walk, if you lose rythem is over, when you walk your muscles will tighten up as the latic acid will settle in your legs. Also dont do anything different on race day then you have done in training, people on the sides might be handing out jelly babies etc, dont eat them if you dont know how your body will react. If you can practice taking on water when running, that may help. I remember the first time I went to an event and just picked up a bottle of water, i drank half of it then spent the next 5 mintues throwing up on the side of the road. That was during Notingham marathon a few years ago. Go onto www.realbuzz.com loads of training advice on there
  11. Even look at something like a MX-5, very light and nimble could also pick one up cheap. The Zed will be too heavy and you might get frustrated. The toyota sprit series is great fun, mate of mine does it in a stripped out aygo. Another mate does it in a NA Supra, and he gets spanked by the aygo
  12. A hooligans bike, like it Definitely in for pictures. I want a 06 Yamaha R6, but don’t have 6k to spend on a bike unless the zed goes, and can't make up my mind if that is what I want or not. It's very difficult.
