  1. I'm going to reduce the price down to £1,200 until the end of Feb, would be helpful to have them gone before I move house
  2. Hi All,Since I no longer own a Z I've decided to sell the wheels that were on it. I've just had them refurbish by Prestige Wheels in Birmingham and they look amazing. They are the Volk Racing TE37 Time attack edition sizes are:Front - 19x9 +22 OffsetRear - 19.10.5 +22 OffsetLooking for £1,800 collection from Berkshire preferred but can ship as they are all already boxed up.Please see pics belowThanksJon
  3. I might be looking to part ways with my Volk TE37 Time Attacks (Black with red rim) they do need a refurb but they are amazing looking wheel wheels and pretty rare. The sizes are 19x9.5/19.10.5
  4. I don't think it'll help but thanks lol 50mm was a bit of an exaggeration, more like 10-15mm but it is higher and still rubbing, it would seem like it has to be a shock, drop link issue and just a coincidence it was noticeable just after the tyres were changed.
  5. Thanks, I've done this and they don't feel different at all, both side are firm to push down and bounce back quickly. If the shock was busted I would have thought I would have noticed before and not only immediately after the new tyres were fitted.
  6. Yes I have, if I'm honest don't really know what i'm looking/listening for, but no rubbing or noise from the damper when I do though
  7. Thanks, Doesn't seem to be any damage on the wheel arch, it could be toe arm, drop link issue but just odd it wasn't happening before. So could be the tread pattern/size difference but odd its just on the offside. The nearside is now lower than the offside, but isn't rubbing
  8. I've been running 235/35/19 on the front and 275/35/19 on the rear of my Zed for about 3 years, With Tein Superstreet coilovers, which were fully set up and been running perfectly since then. I had to change my tyres a few weeks ago, I had Falken 452's and really liked them, unfortunately they don't seem to be making these anymore so went for the newer 453's hoping they been as good (in the same size) After the tyre change the rear offside is rubbing on the wheel arch when I go round a hard left hand bend or hit a largeish bump. I have raised the coilover by about 50mm its now higher than the near side and its still rubbing, I can't work out why after the tyre change its started to rub. My worry is that the shock absorber is on its way out, would this explain the rubbing in compression? If not any ideas on why this has happened? Any help would be appreciated Cheers Jon
  9. Oh also, do what I call 'off the bike running' Basically go for a session on the bike get straight off and go for a run, don’t go far but need to practice running this way as your legs will feel very very strange, but you'll see the feeling will go after 10-15 minutes.
  10. Event looks good. I do marathon and done a few triathlons, going to take the tris more sereiously next year. My advice for the run would be, listen to your body, if you feel like you need to slow down, then do. Likewise if you feel like you can push then do. You'll be surpirse what your body can do, most of the pain etc will be in your head. but my biggest peice of advice would be don't walk, if you lose rythem is over, when you walk your muscles will tighten up as the latic acid will settle in your legs. Also dont do anything different on race day then you have done in training, people on the sides might be handing out jelly babies etc, dont eat them if you dont know how your body will react. If you can practice taking on water when running, that may help. I remember the first time I went to an event and just picked up a bottle of water, i drank half of it then spent the next 5 mintues throwing up on the side of the road. That was during Notingham marathon a few years ago. Go onto www.realbuzz.com loads of training advice on there
  11. Even look at something like a MX-5, very light and nimble could also pick one up cheap. The Zed will be too heavy and you might get frustrated. The toyota sprit series is great fun, mate of mine does it in a stripped out aygo. Another mate does it in a NA Supra, and he gets spanked by the aygo
  12. A hooligans bike, like it Definitely in for pictures. I want a 06 Yamaha R6, but don’t have 6k to spend on a bike unless the zed goes, and can't make up my mind if that is what I want or not. It's very difficult.
  13. Very nice. I per the other thread, If I were to get an R32 it would propably have to be the older body style. What bike are you riding?
  14. I've always wanted a GTR, but The R32 is very dated the R33 is a little dated, and the R34's out of my price range. I though about buying a R33 GTR and think I could make money when selling the zed, but the reason I sold my GT4 was I don't want a mid 90's car, as they tend to need more work and have less luxuries, like heated seats and they have crap interiors.
  15. If your a "dry biker" then you'll only have the "pleasure" during the summer months. If you are a "year round" biker, then I cannot really put "pleasure" and "riding in torrential rain" together I'm afraid.... I'm not really a ''year round'' biker but i'm not a ''dry biker'' i'm not averse to getting caught in the rain I have been saving pennies just something i've been toying with for a few months. I would love to keep the zed and get the bike i want but not really sure i could afford to maintain and run both.
  16. I've been toying with the idea of selling but I go back a forth so much I haven't done anything in case I regret it. I want to get a bike again, but can't afford both. So considered selling the zed to pay for the bike and getting something a bit cheaper. But would still like something quick and maybe trackable and not something too old, basically year 2000 and above. So its been difficult to think of anything. I thought about a Golf R32 and maybe even a Evo 6 or S2000 but would much prefer the 'plushness' of the zed and the zed has more of a wow factor on the road,. just deciding whether a bike would make up for the loss of driving pleasure. Will keep an eye on the thread and see what you get to see if it gives me anymore ideas.
  17. I've never really got the saying about dotting the i's and crossing the t's, why would you forget that in the first place? find it a strage one. Bet you can't wait, I would be sat outside the dealer for like 3 days before I was due to pick it up. Need to gets pics up ASAP
  18. Is there a way that it can be updated so it does take post codes?
