  1. Open to offers for swapping, What ya got? or cash in the £80 region. Think they are £120 new. Been on the car since the first Chilli mod day, whenever that was.
  2. You need to learn to not count at all, Thats what I do
  3. I will soon have a set of Tein Springs available. They lower the car 15mm in the rear and 17mm in the front
  4. Yea i do agree Chirs, I just dont know what specific gains can be got out of the HR. I know Adam had to do a lot to get over the 300 whp mark. I can see RS Tuning getting busy within the next 12 months
  5. Yea i'm looking forward to answers. Mainly is it worth the cost for what I want to use the car for. As you've probably read too, a lot of guys in the states tune their ecu's but seem to be more available for them. Saw 1 guy with a HR has got Amuse exhaust and y-pipe, test pipes (de cats) and a ecu flash running something like 297.1 and the wheels. We need to get those kind of na figures over here
  6. I agree with whats been said so far really. Depending on what you what to get out of the car. If you want a track car just make it light as possible, get coilovers, arb's, roll cage make that chassis stiff as hell. Get a decent brake upgrage. Then learn to drive on a track Ie cat driving school. If you what power to burn porkers and m3's etc, look at boost, APS TT kit from the states will set you back about $7k so £5kish then double that (at least) to fit it and tune it etc. Then don't expect to use it everyday, the more power you put in the more that will go wrong, clutch wont last long, and other parts won't last as long so it'll be in the garage more than you think. Or if you what what most of us want, a great looking car that's faster than most but not all. Make a few exterior mod's, get a nice sounding exhaust, CAI, plemum spacer, upgrade the brakes slightly, you'll have a very nice looking everyday car. Even look at a ecu upgrade to bring the mods together but won't be reaching 300hp
  7. I'd let them know for sure but I would think they will plug it into the car then plug the laptop in see what map it has, start making changes before they start the car up at all. They will have a good idea of what kind of map it needs before they even start tuning. When I had my last car tuned for the first time I had a 10 min chat with the tuner, so he'd have an idea of what I wanted. When I had the engine build, I used a tuner that helped build the engine, so he knew the car better than i did. It spent so much time on the rollers that i'd just dop it of and say somethings not right and leave it with him for a few days.
  8. With me fitting your coilovers we'll be done in no time Jon Sarah If thats the case I'll be more than happy. Have to see what happens
  9. TBH honest its probably going to be too small, i'm about 5'11 and it crushes my nads when I get my shoulders in, as its just quite short. I wonder if thier is a way he could try it on?
  10. Alot more light now though, i can see us working untill 9pm
  11. I used to Kart quite alot, I have a Alpinestars suit, that too short for me, i've worn it less that 5 times. I'm not sure what size it is, but will have a look when i'm home. How tall is he?
  12. Any pics before trying to fitting them? Plus I'll think you'll find my guess was closest
  13. The stealth look is obviously working Jon!! Must be I currently live in Sonning, but about to move to Caversham Heights. I rarely drive into the centre of town which might be why you've not seen me about. I'm pretty sure it is the flexi, so its not too much of an issue. If it gets worse when i'm lower i'll wrap the y-pipe.
  14. At least I know what i'm having for lunch tomorow KK
  15. Bored of this game now Dan I don't even care whats in the damm box
  16. Box 1 of 2? LED taillights?
  17. I'm sure if you are taking the ecu down for them to fit they will do a before and after the ecu, so that will tell you what the ecu has gained you, but as you say wont tell you what the mods have got you. I feel the need to have a dyno day in the coming weeks, I'd like to have my car dyno'd before I do anymore and see what additional mods will give me the most going on what others are done. Mine just has CAI, plemum spacer and cat back exhaust on the 'performance' side.
  18. I'm yet to find a decent garage nr Reading and i've been tuning jap cars for about 5 years. I normally travel a bit for a good garage.
  19. I'd be very interested to see the out come.
  20. I'm a little lost now who is mapping it Andy?
  21. I would think the ecu would have a base map which it could be used for a small journey. I'm at the Chillis on Sunday
