to the forum .... FairladyZ is just the name they have over in Japan and well I think the rest of the world - its just the model name they have used for about 40 years now. (yes its an import) but they are the same car as UK just different reg plate bumpers and I think the suspension is slightly differently set up. There are no major issues with Zeds but try the search and FAQ's section on the forum you have a wealth of knowledge here. 3mm on the pads?? I would get them to change them regardless! Brakes are good on them as a rule with the standard pads etc. Try to find out which model it is - there are different grades? This will reflect in the price - does it have Satnnav screen for example?

glad you liked it..have The engine is tiny the sodding gearbox is bigger!!! Loved the interior mine was red and black (see my memory lane thread its on there) pi***s on the zed as far as interior quality goes I think? I always thought the 190 was supposed to have more low down torque ? mine was the 230bhp and went like sh** off a .... remember the sound like a washing machine on super fast spin! love it..

ross if your keeping the car for years then go mad with a duo tone scheme to lighten up the inside otherwise stick with darker colours ..... consider resale factors

if you peruse Autotrader there is a Night Blue 57 Roadster on there with 3000 miles on the clock - ok fine but look at the picture of the front of it. It looks spotted like mine (mine has done 50K)!!! probably a typo in the ad 30K not 3K miles!

lets not fall out over this . I totally agree with Lexx. the Rex is a step forward . sure not everyones taste but when you live with it you how it piddles on so many premium cars . They used iron roter tips and a controlled oil squirt under hard acceleration to solve the tips issue. Btw personally I think a lot of reviews like what car are needlessly harsh What can a motoring journalist say about a car after only a few hours useage ?

Nice few mods there - the vent bezels are they real alloy with double sided tape on the back? Good idea with the aerial - you do realise you have inadvertently started another S2000 stubbie thread ! Surprised no one has gone all 370Z yet and fitted little hats to the 3 x dials on the top of the dash! Old Yogurt pots would be ideal!
