  1. I`m brokered through Adrian Flux and asked them to choose a company that didn't charge for mods Also, remember that the exhaust won't increase power and is cosmetic only. This shoudl keep the extra charge down if they insist on charging you (in theory).
  2. ESR kindly fitted one of these for me last Saturday. I`m still grinning :teeth: I can honestly say that they work and they work well. My car REALLY shifts now! This is the only mod that has made any appreciable difference to the cars acceleration. The pop-charger improved throttle response but the plenum spacer just makes it fly! When cruising the improved torque at lower revs makes driving effortless and smooth, plus, bizarrely enough, the mpg has started creeping up. I have no idea why as I`ve been hooning it around but the mpg has gotten better by 1 mpg ! For the cost, easily the best mod you can have IMO.
  3. +1 Ooh another post (er, do these post whore posts need to actually add to the thread in any way?)
  4. I think that was it, although I missed the c/f lip. But then again you (or whomever) did have a good look, you had obviously clocked my azure and did try to say hello but I was right behind you and you couldn't turn round far enough. I was in the tow of my young lady so was being frog-marched to the shop She thought your plate was quite rude, but then maybe she misunderstood it
  5. It took me long enough to twig - but was this you Martin (martinmac)? Car park in Conniston next to the tourist building.
  6. Blimey, that was quick !
  7. Fabulous Chilli Red in our for sale section now. Only a little over £14K and you aren't paying for fancy wheels which may not be to your taste. Lost of money left over for your own wheels and other mods - and red is such a rare and cool colour on the Z IMO.
  8. Pah! No more v-power here in the toon, I`ve had to switch to inferior 97 ron esso I can feel the hp ebbing away.... noooooo.......
  9. Wow, what a nice shiny car 500 miles will just fly by
  10. Good ad mate, best of luck to you.
  11. I can't say I noticed any problems yesterday, there are a lot of shell garages on the route but also plenty of BP when you get nearer to the A14 so if you can get to, say, Newark, you shoudl be fine. Tons of non-shell around there. Do you really have shortages in the Lakes?
  12. One has appeared in my works car park which only holds about 50 cars, but the guy blanked me the other day. I`d like to card him just for the hell of it - where do you get them from
  13. It's called V Power these days Pops !
  14. I don't like Tesco fuel because of the ethanol. Firstly they ship it on from across the world, so it isn't as 'green' as they try to make out. Secondly, ethanol dislikes the seals on you car so prolonged use *may* cause seal damage.
  15. For low cost - a stubby aerial For performance - a plenum spacer For amazing sound - a new exhaust For slightly improved sound, a saving on paper filters and better throttle response - a intake change. Money no object? - change the suspension as that will transform the car.
  16. Ooh, there is always one that has to show off
  17. Me too! Only one mod gives you more power - a plenum spacer. All the rest just look and sound nice, until you get to turbo/supercharger/new ecu territory.
  18. Yesh, I gave her 10 points extra because she looked cute
  19. RAYS were not part of the GT pack They were a £1000 extra.... See, I know nothing but the bit about the Nismo wheels being 'mods' is unfortunately true.
  20. It may be a GT but it doesn't have Rays alloys on it. I don't think the non-Gt standard alloys are 18" but someone will clarify that I`m sure. It's got no mats either. Apart from that, if it's a high miler then it may be worth a look
  21. Horrid! I feel hideously claustrophobic all of a sudden. Can't... breath...
