Getting a good layer of wax makes such a difference to washing the car. Invest a dar every six months cleaning and properly waxing the car and then you will be able to clean the car to dry in under 30 minutes. People keep asking how I keep my car so clean and that it must be washed all the time but its just thanks to the wax making a weekly wash soo easy and not time consuming.

What do you need to fit an aftermarket head unit in the 350z. What you need depends on a few things as there are different parts. Note: The text/part numbers in Blue are links to SextonsDirect who have sold these products to a number of forum members 1) Facia There are a few options here depending on your year of car & type of head unit you are installing Year: Pre06 Year: Pre06 Year: 06onwards Single DIN & Pocket Double DIN Single DIN & Pocket OR Double DIN Note all these facias are black so may not match some imports. 2) Looms What loom you want depends on a few things...... Standard Head Unit Replacement without Steering Wheel Controls Non BOSE BOSE BOSE ICT 20-134 ICT 20-260 PAC ROEM-NIS2 & ICT 20-134 & These two looms will need splicing together Standard Head Unit Replacement retaining Steering Wheel Controls Non BOSE BOSE ICT 29-645 + 29-00* ICT 29-674 + 29-00* Details on How to connect up the ICT looms with Steering Controls - http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=31260&p=457835 Head Unit Replacement using aftermarket amps & speakers Non BOSE or BOSE ICT 20-134 NOTES: [*:2qgk45ls]To use a ICT BOSE Compatible looms above your head unit must have pre-out connections. [*:2qgk45ls]Some users who have aftermaket head units with the factory ICT Adapter may find that their system is not quite as loud as they expect. This is due to the way the loom takes the Pre-Out Signal. Each head-unit outputs different level signals i.e. 1v -> 4v. As a result if you have a head unit with a low voltage output you may find the volume lower than you want. To work around this issue you can use a Line Booster as shown below ICT 23-007 - TURBO 1 Variable line driver [*:2qgk45ls]The factory loom does not contain an earth lead. The factory unit earths through its chassis. As a result a custom earth lead will need to be made to a suitable point (i.e. one of the bolts under the head unit.)

I tried it on my car on 3 little door dings and it did nothing . It might be better on big dings.

Where does it say it would move to K and not M? - Its just on CO2 and at 280 it means we are well into M from 2009

This is the first year in 7 years I have not been to the show. Of those 7 years EVERY single one was scortching sunshine. Even one where the day before it tipped it down and we thought it would do the same but no - sun sun sun. Looks like I picked a good year to pass on the event. Sure the rain helped create a few prangs on the track

wise move releasing it. It was a stupid thing to try, OK maybe in the playground but stupid on the public roads Why are they all hanging about on the cycle path?
-
Maybe they have improved the software so it can now ready slightly wrong space - would be a fairly easy change to implement in all honestly. It would mean they could read the plate and send on a NIP if its wrongly formed as well as for any other offence committed. I'm guessing if you used a totally non-standard font it would rely on a manual step to read the plate rather than being automated if you use standard font just badly spaced
-
Good shots - next time your at that location try taking some shorts for HDR pics as the range you should get there will be a good improvement on a standard photo

I would take a look at the current offers that are arround. The changes of your old contract being comparible with what is being offered now is very unlikely as its become very competative the deals you get now are much better than 2/3 years ago. Get much more txt/calls for the same money. I'm just on Orange SIM Only at the moment. Tempted to move to o2 PAYG while I decide what to do as the orange signal is so crap where I am
-
Ask for a PAC code - if there is a chance they will offer you a 12 month contract that will be when. Otherwise just use the PAC, go to one of the other operators on PAYG for a month or so then just buy a new 12 month contract.

Put a GPS tracking device in it next time. Know someone who turned theirs on, on their head unit while it was in with Nissan for a service. Afterwards it showed up they had hit 92 mph on the 'test' drive.

Personally I always perfer to park the car myself, spent the extra 5 minutes in the bus transfer and know that no-one will be driving my car. Last time we went skiiing a friend who was fling in from SA to flow out to meet us a day late put his car into valet parking. After a delayed flight, missing his connection to france then needing to drive to drive to another airport to get another link flight he went to pick up his car and was told "Oh I'm sorry sir there has been a little accident. We have scraped the side of the car along a wall.....Don't worry its our fault" To say he was about to go ballistic on them is an understatement with all he had put up with that day.

A friend had really bad turbo shuffle on his R34 when he got it heavily modified. Best bet is to speak to the tuners - think its normally sorted by doing a remap

Arse been looking for one of these for ages. Sods law the one weekend I am away from a computer one comes up grrr

Really impressive run. He did cruise the 100 and I think sub 9:60 is acheivable by him. He said after the race that he was just overjoyed and did not realise how much he could have beaten the record by until later. He was just soo happy to have won. You could see in the 200 he really was trying at the end grimising. I recon he could shave a little more off given the right track and wind conditions. Its going to change the way trainers approach tall sprinters who are normally pushed to other sports. Saw a stat on his stride length against the guy that came second, he had almost 1ft more meaning for every 6 strides he makes the next guy has to have done 7 just to match him. Thats a lot of extra effort

Seen the pics before - very impressive for a garage build. Looks like its got a fairly hefty engine going in too. Probably won't be too slow

Nice little review in 5th Gear - straight and too the point. For round a twisty track not bad for a car which is heaver and more efficient
-
Must be a repost surely Almost a year and a half old those. Remember when it going round the forums when it first happened
-
I think your missing the point of modifying. I am sure the same could be said about many 350z owners on this forum

Be careful Phil - Names etc are all covered by the data protection act. He only needs to say if the seller wasn't one of his customers. No Date Protection issue with that. true - say nothing and he knows its all good lol

it also uses Garmin navigation. You will need a double-din surround to fit it.
