  1. Good work. Nice to see the Split Second box being replaced with UpRev, should keep it running sweet
  2. Thought it was only right to have the accompanying video
  3. Good progress Chris. Quick question (pointer), where you are feeding the cables into the rear cubby area, from the centre tunnel. I assume you have test fitted the tunnel cover/armrest to make sure it all fits? Only reason I ask is that I seem to remember my CarPC cabling run through the same holes and I had trouble getting the armrest/tunnel cover back down again. Wouldnt want you doing all that good work to find it then doesnt fit

    UpRev...

When you say EML removed, I assume you mean reset? If they use OBD to reset it then it should not effect the UpRev map. The UpRev code is modfied OEM code that resides in the ECU firmware. When you remove the EML by resetting it should not effect this. However if Nissan has used software to "rewrite" the ECU then most likely it will have overwritten the UpRev code. You can use UpRev to cancel the EML permenantly for emmission warnings (for decats for example).
  5. +1. I seem to remember most water wastage was actually their pipes leaking all over the shop! They might want to fix them first
  6. Good to see its been sorted. Paying the price you do for DBA you do kind of expect a greater level of service from them. Fingers crossed the issues will be solved with the new discs
  7. I live 20 miles from work and still cycle on nice days! Even when we drive (I car share), I still have a mile walk either way to get to work from the car. If I was only a mile theres no way I would be wasting fuel on driving. Walk/cycle during the week and save the fuel for fun trips at the weekend Added benefit is you get fitter too.
  8. So when do we get a "Time to say hello" in 370z General then Will?
  9. Where are you taking it for the tuning bud? Cant wait to see some vids
  10. OBD port I think is only for power, so technically you could take a feed from an ACC power source instead.
  11. Very much doubt without driving them hard you managed to warp them. Sure its not DTV? Although one stop HARD when cold can kill discs I've been informed in the past. Like stopping from crusing on the motorway to a standstill very quickly if the discs arent warm.

    Help

So did I first time but then noticed he had put I hit the a pillar Hyphenation is a wonderful thing - it should be A-pillar
  13. Congrats on the purchase Will, you will always look back with fond memories of the '50, but the '70 is well worth the outlay as you know Ready when you are if you want a username tweak
  14. Hence my question too Tis a lovely car, especially in Black Rose
  15. A lot of 350z are getting to the age where they'll need bushes replacing now. If the handling is also a bit vague then that could well be it. I didnt realise my old 350z needed them doing until I got the 370z and realised how much tighter the handling felt.
  16. From what I remember they do But remember when they were new Super wasnt widely used by most, so I guess a lot of people assumed they just wanted you to use fancy petrol to get best performance, no one knew that the base map wouldnt handle 95RON very well
  17. Yes, those are indeed fillport lines. One loop for CPU, one loop for GPU Flash git In my day you were lucky to get anything so fancy. I had DangerDen blocks on my CPU/GPU, some hacked up rad and a pond pump to power it all The best I got from it was a Zalman water tower thing that I bolted to the back which made it all nearly fanless, it was very very quiet
  18. How come there is air in the system? Are they filling ports or something? When I used to run my old W/C'd PC it was running closed system so to me that seems a little odd
  19. Not really a question - more of a demand I get asked where we're going - and the answer is always "the scenic route!"
