  1. Members have also been known to come back too and they'd be a bit ****ed if you've gone and deleted their account
  2. Not sure I'd expect 15WHP from HFCs over exhaust/intake combos? That looks to be the only real difference between our cars. I think Kev has HFCs as well as intake/exhaust and got about 315WHP. Thats more what I'd expect. 315WHP is still over 350HP@fly which is really good
  3. Had mine done 9 months ago now and more than happy with it. With all those breathing mods, you'll definately need one so just get it done. Mark is great to sit with and will explain everything you want to know. I just sat and watched in awe
  4. If you hot send it for data extraction, then it's gonna be expensive, they charge by the GB But then if its the only copy of photos etc, then well worth it than loosing them Always make at least 2 redundant backups of data. My photos live on my laptop, NAS and online backup
  5. Happy Birthday Dave! I'm guessing you've not sent him a can of Red Bull then?
  6. Looks like a good standard routine there. As Dblock says you may want to consider snow foam and tar/road cack remover. I'd personally got for LP over LPL by hand so at least it will make polishing quicker, just dont expect any swirl removal or correction from it. With the wax, dont bother topping up every month, you wont need to. Mine lasts somewhere between 3-6 months depending on how many washes I give it and RM will keep the protection topped up. On the topic of RM, make sure you get tropical, its easier to work with. I would say for the new car, whip the wheels off one by one and clean, de-tar, and seal them. Makes them faaaar easier to clean later on and stops the crap sticking. I did this on my Zed(s) and worked a treat. Didnt manage to do it on the Alfa which gives off the most amount of brake dust and really regret it now. Once spring comes around I'll have them off and cleaned up properly then sealed. And
  7. I have noticed this before, the numbers are high. So why is this ? any know. The vast majority sign up and lurk. They manage to get all the information they require and dont feel the need to post anything up. It can be a very scary place to venture onto if you're not used to the internet, especially with some of the characters we have on here
  8. Yes you can. Still slow to react, but at least predictable. Its when its in full auto that its really ropey with gear selection
  9. This. And there are a supprising amount of "hangers around" still here - *cough* Sarnie *cough*
  10. I cant fault anything in your assessment, same as my old mans old one. Lovely interior when you look and touch it, but the seats arent half as comfortable as they look. Engine doesnt have much go and the gearbox is shocking! We headed over to Swindon in our old one as a "treat" before I had the Zed, and it refused to give me any gears when trying to pull out into a rounderbout until about 2 seconds after I hit the accelerator! Some brown pants moments ensued and needless to say I never left it in auto after that! The Zed, with its lower rate interior, is far superior in almost all the ways that are important!
  11. do we get stand tickets too? Yes one stand pass per car will be allocated for those on the list
  12. We usually get a discount on the tickets too. No jumping the gun people
  13. I had the Speed's I think, pretty basic by Recaro's standards but lovely and comfy. Rails back then were a bit of a ball ache, the only ones that fit properly were the Bride ones which cost the same as the seats by the time I'd imported them from the States! The rails were nice and low though, sitting me slightly lower than the standard leather seats which was perfect.
  14. Not going myself - but here is the official thread - http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=57&t=55696 Locking this one, please keep everything in there
  15. Approved on the proviso that pics are going to be added imminently
  16. Lime Prime is their "cleanser", does pretty much the same as polish and does a good job. Supernatural is the wax you want, suits any car and makes them look lovely. Lasts well too. I use SN on my Zed and the missus Alfa
  17. Snow drift No Zeds up there that day
  18. Do they do a 350z-UK T-shirt? I think we need to make a Stig one. Much more options in the States, when Amanda got one there were loads of outfits!
  19. Biggest problem is that the forum software (phpBB) isnt easily extensible. Sure most of the ideas are doable but with the Olympics on the horizon, I think my employers have a more pressing demand for my coding skills than this place There may be a mod to allow for threads to be rated, I'll see if I can find that. The other ideas all seem like a lot of effort and will cause massive headaches when phpBB release updates as our hacks will cause the updates to fail.
  20. I'll have it for early May and take it to the Lakes then Mauritius and Dubia, but it would then miss the Wales weekend And Mr AK can have it at the end of June and take it MTBing in the Alps
  21. Given he's asking in Abbey's area, I assume he wants them to do the work To the OP, best to give them a ring as they arent always monitoring the forum
  22. Usually to do it properly you should hand it over to the next member, that way it gets to travel around the country properly
  23. ehhheeem... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldne ... l-ban.html Oh dear... Try telling that to your patient if you're a surgeon, or to your passengers if you're a pilot and something goes wrong
