  1. Bit of a grey area, it will void your warrenty on any bits that it effects, which in reality isnt a lot. Any decent dealer should be happy with it TBH, but they could try and use it as a get out clause if something goes wrong, as most will wrongly try and deny any warranty claim because of it. A quick bit of shouting and you'd be ok though
  2. It is a bloody big box and about 35kg if you are after the exhaust Yeh, that explains the shipping costs then! Is Stillen pretty much the preferred choice for the 370's at the moment? Well I think for Colin and I, we both wanted something that sounded like the Nismo does on the 350z - and for that the Stillen was perfect. Also when Colin got his they had a deal on I think to get it cheaper, and when I got mine, you got the Gen 3 intakes for free, which was something I wanted anyway, so both of us go what was a good deal at the time. They get good reviews on the370z.com and dyno proven results (both exhuast and intakes). There are others out there, like the Berk which Envy now do. I think thats pretty similar to the Stillen. Have a look through the370z.com and see which one you prefer, and also which one comes in cheapest if thats a big factor Also be prepared to have an import duty bill of ~£175 on it
  3. Yup. When I looked on the tyre calc, even moving one profile each way made it go out of spec. You need the ones posted before
  4. Will have been a loose connector. I dont think they are particularly good tbh given the amount of people that get them, just push all the connectors home and reset seems to work whenever the light does come on
  5. Its more how much time you lose by them being in customs
  6. Just wait for it to hit customs
  7. That must be a scam
  8. If they get any time to spend it +1 - that used to be Phils problem too, so busy, he never had any time off!
  9. Good man, thats the one. These are the 3 to run: Accelerator Pedal Release Position Learning Operation Procedure 1. Make sure that the accelerator pedal is fully released. 2. Turn ignition switch “ON†and wait at least 2 seconds. 3. Turn ignition switch “OFF†wait at least 10 seconds. 4. Turn ignition switch “ON†and wait at least 2 seconds. 5. Turn ignition switch “OFF†wait at least 10 seconds. Throttle Valve Closed Position Learning Operation Procedures 1. Make sure that accelerator pedal is fully released. 2. Turn ignition switch is “ONâ€. 3. Turn ignition switch is “OFF†wait at least 10 seconds. Make sure that the throttle valve moves during above 10 seconds by confirming the operating sound. Idle Air Volume Learning (Throttle Position Learning) It is better to count the time accurately with a clock. Operation Procedures 1. Perform “Accelerator Pedal Released Position Learningâ€. 2. Perform “Throttle Valve Closed Position Learningâ€. 3. Start engine and warm it up to normal operating temperature. 4. Turn ignition switch “OFF†and wait at least 10 seconds. 5. Conform that accelerator pedal is fully released, turn ignition switch “ON†and wait 3 seconds. 6. Repeat the following (steps 7a, 7b) procedures quickly five times within 5 seconds. 7a. Fully depress the accelerator pedal (HARD) 7b. Fully release the accelerator pedal. 8. Wait 7 seconds, fully depress the accelerator pedal and keep it for approx. 20 seconds until the Check Engine Light (CEL) stops blinking and turned ON. 9. Fully release the accelerator pedal within 3 seconds after the CEL is ON. 10. Start engine and let it idle. 11. Wait 20 seconds. 12. Rev up the engine two or three times and make sure the idle speed and ignition timing are within the specifications. Should hopefully sort it out
  10. Sounds like you've disturbed the butterfly slightly while cleaning so it's not closing properly at idle? Would be my guess. I believe there is an idle air learning procedure you can do, have a google for it What did you do to clean it? IIRC moving it to clean it can bugger it right up in some cases. Most cases, doing a idle air relearning procedure fixes it.
  11. And you think this plastic ring will stay in place when installing a tyre? I highly doubt it chap, they are just to protect from kerbing. Come tyre fitting time, they will rip them off before the tyre, then you're back to sqaure one. I beleive there is a list on the Pirelli site which lists their "pro delears" or something, some certification to say they can do big perfomance wheels and all use plastic fitments to stop you damaging the wheel. Best to use them or a trusted place. I use my local wheel refurber, its not an advertised service from them, but as they refurbed them last time, they take as much care as possible, and have never marked my wheels, and always come back perfectly balanced.
  12. But does need authentic wheels! Wonder what car they came off!

  14. The 370z is inspired by shark week
  15. You should watch it Stan, explains where the fangs come from
  16. Might remove the language and style selections when I get around to fiddling with it
  17. Well done! Made it into an sticky
  18. OMG
  19. to the club
  20. Get some pics of it up when you collect it and we always like piccies of other cars in the "other cars" section, we're all petrol heads here
  21. I wouldnt be supprised if thats a tactic to sell the 370z's
  22. Yup, stick it in gear instead. Behind the disc, through the hole there should be a small ratchet which you need to loosen off, but its at about 11 o'clock on the hub, so you need to turn the disc to the right angle to see it. See the service manual in the guides section for details
  23. From the 06 models onwards, the standard airbox is regarded as pretty much the best intake you can get Would be interested to see how the Stillen Gen 3 behaves, but thats for HR only. Has very good gains on the 370z.
  24. Guys, I highly doubt they will miss the oppotunity to get revenue from bikers. http://www.macclesfield-express.co.uk/n ... and_fiddle
