  1. Update - pic of their test mule, its on a 7AT G37 but has been designed to fit a 370z too. Will pose the question of RHD to them. Not quite as pretty as I expected it to be, but this is their test mule. They will release it with a new engine cover to tidy things up. Good news for me, the 7AT handles the extra power easily apparently
  2. Going by the fact that you dont want a German car, I'd say you're not in their new target demographic, they are after the people after those cars named above
  3. Kevin Plenty of information around on the forum, use the Advanced Search on the top right of the screen to find what you are looking for, or post up a thread if you can not find it
  4. Yeah, get the whole wheel done, if you really want to get rid of the lip. Its just my personal opinion of having stuff like that done before, I would get the whole thing done, otherwise the finish just isnt up to the abuse that wheels take. I had my wheels wet painted before and it didnt take long for stone chips to get in and the paint started flaking off, and its gutting when it happens as you litterally just threw money away. Got them PC'd and the finish is much harder wearing. What I would be cautious of is saving a couple of hundred quid now, and end up spending it later. Another thing to watch is that the finish on Rotas in general isnt the greatest wearing, mine have lasted way way better since my local wheel place PC'd them
  5. It does it now and again, there is a conflict between the touch screen USB mouse and the GPS. For some reason xport can still pick up its a GPS reciever, but the apps connected to it cant, so I guess its xport screwing something up now and again. Normally it screws the GPS COM port, so have to power it off, remove the USBs, power back up, insert them one by one, GPS will show up on a different COM, then have to change xport to the new COM, and also the 2 that it replicates to, finally change any apps that run off them to point to their new ports. One final reboot releases the original ports and all sorted! Its a right faff, but weirdly only happes maybe twice a year.
  6. I'll let you tell Dave that We worked damn hard to pick a date that didnt clash with anything, so would assume that JTS announced the date very late on JTS is usually end of May (like last weekend) or start of June.
  7. You could key, mask and paint, but the finish wont be anywhere near as durable as a proper powdercoated finish, and you may not get a colour match. Personally, I would spend an extra couple of hundred quid (or less) getting them powdercoated professionally, but then they might not appear as good a deal. From what I've learnt modifying my Zed, what might seem a simple DIY when painting/trimming/etc, you are quickly dissapointed in your own work when it starts to flake/fade etc as its not a professional job no matter how good it looks to start with. Thats my unbias view of it
  8. Very dodgy. Electrics isnt my strong point, so I'll let the other resident experts help you with that
  9. Aye, not good Still ITST is down at Silverstone this year, will likely do that instead
  10. Will be good to see it up and running. My GPS mouse has decided to tell Windows its not a GPS mouse at all, so not working atm Need to do a proper power down and reboot it, but thats easier said than done where its mounted, and the weather is pap
  11. Very odd one. Could you hear the motor going? I had a problem after some cold weather where the bolt had worked its way back slightly on my drivers wiper and it would be intermittent. Just needed torquing back up onto the spindle and it was fine. I could hear the motor trying to drive it still though. See if you can move the arms on the spindle when the car is parked up. Other option I guess is a loose connection somwhere
  12. Surely one is for Saturday and one is for Sunday
  13. We'll drag you kicking and screaming into this century Its very nice I must say, Stillen exhaust sounds so much better than stock too You dont breaking her in yet Colin? Had to go tentatively last time I saw her.
  14. Not for long though hopefully Jez, we're ready to go when you are Sounds like you had a cracking day

    wrapping

Yup, Mitz was looking to do a great deal for the first roadster to be done via him, so give him a shout
  16. Looks good, Bedford is a cracking track, nice big run offs and nothing to hit
  17. Check youtube, I think there are a couple with 370z's maybe a standard and a Nismo one
  18. You used the HTML tags, needs to me the IMG tags
  19. I was waiting for that I think its quite a good place. Bar the heat coming from the intercooler, its the best place for it. Not sure how much detremental effect the IC will have, maybe want to heatshield it from that?
  20. And to think we leave him incharge of the forum
  21. Looks good Fixed the images for ya.
  22. As above, been sent but not read
  23. Looks very nice mate, good to hear its well made, might get a few EvoR bits myself Although not sure how well it will show up on very dark grey, might leave it til mine arrives.
  24. I liked the heavy clutch in my MY03 Zed, the new light clutch takes away some of the feeling IMO. Also didnt say road noise was desireable, but more the lack of sound deadening, which lets you hear the exhaust note more. The Cayman I drove around Thruxton sounded a lot more muted than a Zed, and also dare I say it, boring. Its almost too good at what it does. I agree they are looking at pricing themselves out of the race though. If it wasnt for this place I may well have gone for a Cayman over a 370z
