  1. You should watch it Stan, explains where the fangs come from
  2. Might remove the language and style selections when I get around to fiddling with it
  3. Get some pics of it up when you collect it and we always like piccies of other cars in the "other cars" section, we're all petrol heads here
  4. I wouldnt be supprised if thats a tactic to sell the 370z's
  5. Yup, stick it in gear instead. Behind the disc, through the hole there should be a small ratchet which you need to loosen off, but its at about 11 o'clock on the hub, so you need to turn the disc to the right angle to see it. See the service manual in the guides section for details
  6. From the 06 models onwards, the standard airbox is regarded as pretty much the best intake you can get Would be interested to see how the Stillen Gen 3 behaves, but thats for HR only. Has very good gains on the 370z.
  7. Guys, I highly doubt they will miss the oppotunity to get revenue from bikers. http://www.macclesfield-express.co.uk/n ... and_fiddle
  8. I don't know if having a 30 profile all round is keeping the rolling radius the same. If you use the link I supplied then you'll see that it keeps the rolling radius as close to original specs as is possible. Don't just take my word for it, give it a go yourself and see. Yes - spot on. Please remember there is a difference of RR from front to rear. Most cars in the UK have the same RR front and rear, which is where the garage will have gone wrong, its the biggest problem we see on here with respect to new wheels. You need to keep the percentage difference in RR the same (somewhere around 2.5-3.5% IIRC), and going by the width tyres you want, the sizes Ekona lists above are the closes you can get and should have no problems
  9. I'm sure I read on PH that the cameras will be reward facing because of this on that stretch of road I dont think they are that stupid, not when it comes to losing revenue!
  10. Oh and did anyone see the news story about the scheme to allow teenagers to have a go at driving? The idea was they got to take a car around a carpark to learn how to handle a car. Some government representative plank said the scheme was a bad idea as it didnt mimik the roads properly The idea isnt to mimick the roads, its to let them get used to driving a car, so that when they learn to drive on the road, they can concentrate on that and not how to change gear Usual goverment stupidity ruling our lives
  11. thats a great point! With stupid noise regulations and limited usage policies...... so therefore probably not financially viable really. +1 How about people learn to drive properly before being given a car or a bike? Accidents will always happen, just look at that copper who went to attend the bus crash in the "big freeze" and ended up in the ditch with them. He knew how to drive in the conditions, he knew the conditions were bad, and yet he still crashed! I would imagine things like smoking is one of the biggest killers in the UK, but again, they make far too much money of taxing them to make outright ban it.
  12. Even those 2 shades of GM arent that far apart I would say its more likely it has a blade silver bumper
  13. Diff isnt sealed, but Nissan dont specify when the oil needs changing AFAIK, same with the gearbox. Most that do change them are tracking their cars where you do need to change it due to the excess heat you generate breaking down the oil over time
  14. Hey bud, nice to hear they finally made it on
  15. There are some very nice spa hotels nearby Chris. Shhhhhh damn you! Amanda is fine with camping, I need to save my money!
  16. Borrowed this interview with the designer of the 370z - Randy Rodriguez - from our US cousins. Enjoy http://www.craveonline.com/lifestyle/ar ... Online.com The man himself is actually a member one of the US forums and posted these vids that he thought people would be interested in. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=br8B55_-xDI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=moK9JGt2VxI
  17. A very personal choice IMO. Are you desperate to get one? If no, then wait and get one second hand later - there are a few popping up as "ex demo" which acutallly havent really been driven - if you wait it out. If you are desperate to get one, then go for it. No matter how logical you try to be about it, if you can afford it, you will want it. Have you taken one for a testdrive? Watch out for the interest on their repayments too, it sounds quite low but they dont quote APR usually, so when you work it out, actually you could be paying a lot just for the loan. Depends on your monetary situation, for me I took their finance as I know I will pay it off early and not incur all the interest, and the scheme I am on I only have to be in for 3 months before I can pay it off when I like.
  18. Depending on where you read up on it though, some say its not worth it. When I had mine fitted at Phils, he said it wasnt really worth it, but while I had mad a big trip to get there, I may as well just do it
  19. I agree it is too expensive, but I find beemers sooo boring to drive A major factor in the percieved expensive price is the showroom tax, if you look at the base price (not OTR) its quite a good price, once again its the government screwing us over!
