I don't know if having a 30 profile all round is keeping the rolling radius the same. If you use the link I supplied then you'll see that it keeps the rolling radius as close to original specs as is possible. Don't just take my word for it, give it a go yourself and see. Yes - spot on. Please remember there is a difference of RR from front to rear. Most cars in the UK have the same RR front and rear, which is where the garage will have gone wrong, its the biggest problem we see on here with respect to new wheels. You need to keep the percentage difference in RR the same (somewhere around 2.5-3.5% IIRC), and going by the width tyres you want, the sizes Ekona lists above are the closes you can get and should have no problems

I'm sure I read on PH that the cameras will be reward facing because of this on that stretch of road I dont think they are that stupid, not when it comes to losing revenue!

Oh and did anyone see the news story about the scheme to allow teenagers to have a go at driving? The idea was they got to take a car around a carpark to learn how to handle a car. Some government representative plank said the scheme was a bad idea as it didnt mimik the roads properly The idea isnt to mimick the roads, its to let them get used to driving a car, so that when they learn to drive on the road, they can concentrate on that and not how to change gear Usual goverment stupidity ruling our lives
-
thats a great point! With stupid noise regulations and limited usage policies...... so therefore probably not financially viable really. +1 How about people learn to drive properly before being given a car or a bike? Accidents will always happen, just look at that copper who went to attend the bus crash in the "big freeze" and ended up in the ditch with them. He knew how to drive in the conditions, he knew the conditions were bad, and yet he still crashed! I would imagine things like smoking is one of the biggest killers in the UK, but again, they make far too much money of taxing them to make outright ban it.

Even those 2 shades of GM arent that far apart I would say its more likely it has a blade silver bumper

Diff isnt sealed, but Nissan dont specify when the oil needs changing AFAIK, same with the gearbox. Most that do change them are tracking their cars where you do need to change it due to the excess heat you generate breaking down the oil over time

Hey bud, nice to hear they finally made it on

Borrowed this interview with the designer of the 370z - Randy Rodriguez - from our US cousins. Enjoy http://www.craveonline.com/lifestyle/ar ... Online.com The man himself is actually a member one of the US forums and posted these vids that he thought people would be interested in. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=br8B55_-xDI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=moK9JGt2VxI

A very personal choice IMO. Are you desperate to get one? If no, then wait and get one second hand later - there are a few popping up as "ex demo" which acutallly havent really been driven - if you wait it out. If you are desperate to get one, then go for it. No matter how logical you try to be about it, if you can afford it, you will want it. Have you taken one for a testdrive? Watch out for the interest on their repayments too, it sounds quite low but they dont quote APR usually, so when you work it out, actually you could be paying a lot just for the loan. Depends on your monetary situation, for me I took their finance as I know I will pay it off early and not incur all the interest, and the scheme I am on I only have to be in for 3 months before I can pay it off when I like.

Sounds good Arkwright

Depending on where you read up on it though, some say its not worth it. When I had mine fitted at Phils, he said it wasnt really worth it, but while I had mad a big trip to get there, I may as well just do it
-
I agree it is too expensive, but I find beemers sooo boring to drive A major factor in the percieved expensive price is the showroom tax, if you look at the base price (not OTR) its quite a good price, once again its the government screwing us over!

Off to the 370Z roadster launch at local dealer!!

Give WLMG in Slough a shout chap, they have on and if you say you are with the club and ask for G he will look after you -
The zed has staggered tyre sizes in terms of rolling radius, most garages don't pick up on that. You need to match what you had before interms of RR

You're a braver man than me, given there are no pics of a black one Depending on when you get it, I might have a quick trip down to see it Why is he brave? Black is black.................. Black with smoke wheels, not sure it will go

Thats what it was designed for. Equally at home as munching the miles as hooning around a track. I would say its slightly skewed towards GT car as it comes from the factory, but easily made into a proper sports car with a few simple handling mods

Looks fine for me, when I download it too, so doenst appear corrupt on the server. Try a forced refresh (Ctrl-F5 on IE and FF, not sure in Safari). Also try clearing any caches in the browser to force it to redownload everything.

Probably should have updated this thread earlier, but as many of you know I will be recieving my Quartz 370z 7AT Black Edition around July time Just want to say a big thanks to WLMG in Slough, the chaps there are excellent and looked after me and my million questions very nicely. I fully recommend them, the chaps you need to speak to are G and his boss Abid. They are looking forward to hopefully doing an open day for us at some point to generate some interest in the 370z, roadster, Black Edition and GTR when they become an official HPC. If you are thinking about getting a 370z and are around the Slough area head on down and find G and mention the club sent you, they will look after you. Same for servicing, speak to Mark the service manager and he'll look after you too Gonna be a long wait, hope you can all put up with me!

If you want to borrow some for 4 months, I have a set spare They are very nicely made chaps, with whopping K&N filters. The look, feel and quality is spot on, and fully justifies the price. They guys and gals at Stillen are really nice too, excellent to deal with, delivery is very quick -

+1 Would a smaller variation of the BMW shark fin design not look better? Some kind of sharkfin would be my solution -

I gather not necessarially - well on the 370 at least - but we will let our tame 370 to be guinea pig try first Definately a bumper off job, but its not hard to whip the bumper off Might be a while before we find out if it fits the 370z if you are waiting for me -
Really shows what a good tune and some selective parts can do to a car

Not biggie I have something amazingly similar in my loft, but for a 3.7l Gaz: they are currently on offer at $499 if you didnt know. With shipping usually $150 for a single one, thats £420 plus duties if you get one yourself - so making at least a £50 saving with a GB
