That's what whisky is for - it kills all the bugs!
  3. The Z can give you a fright on the exit from a roundabout if you are too heavy on the right foot, but it is a pussycat compared to one of the first cars I drove legally. It was my old man's Ford Corsair 2000GT and it was a nightmare. He put a bag of sand in the boot to try to give it more grip in the winter, but it still slipped all over the place. It (and a mk 1 Escort) put me off Fords for life.
  4. All I know is that mine goes like s**te off a shovel.
  5. Think he's ignoring you, Nixy.
  6. Nixy, I have just checked mine again, and it is definitely 330 x 178mm. It fills the space quite well, and I think it looks better than the rather smaller motorbike-size plates that you see on some cars. In fact, if it was any smaller, it would not cover the cut-outs on the bumper which are designed to take the standard Japanese plates.
  7. Did you use your Z, or do they teach you on their own cars?

Ha ha .... yeah then on the specs, it shows blank for 0-60! Rearrange this sentence...... Fireguard About Use Chocolate As Much As A Could replace Fireguard with Teapot
  9. +1 What a mess to make of your car!
  10. I never thought of myself as a Sunday driver.
  11. 330 x 178 mm I ordered mine from Demon Plates http://www.demonplates.com/ They have a range of import size options in their plate builder section, and were quick to deliver at a reasonable price.
  12. Where did you get it done, Paul?
  13. Do you mean just the actual filter itself - no change to the air intake housing? If so, where is the best place to get these?
  14. Any idea if anyone has done the door cards in Alcantara, and if so, how much would it cost?
  15. I got mine done by Demon plates from the web. You can select the most suitable size of plate from the range of choices.
  16. Autocar had a first drive feature of The Porsche 911 GT3 RS last week. The colour was similar to yours, but the Porker doesn't look as good. I'll keep my eyes peeled for you - shouldn't be hard to spot!
  17. Parked outside the Persimmon Showhome at The Brackens estate in Larbert, lunchtime today. Another Z moving into my territory?
  18. I beg to differ +1 Why are you trying to put someone off importing? Plenty of us have done it and are very happy with the outcome.
  19. to the best Z forum. You should find lots of info about various importers if you use the search button. What part of the country are you in?
  20. The Z did well this year. http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/carreviews/used_car_honours_2007/208073/nissan_350z.html
  21. I'm still with BT, despite having been through all of the Indian call centre problems to try and get my line speed up to what I am paying for (8mb) without any real permanent success. I just can't be bothered going to the hassle of changing so I'm stuck with a download speed of around 1mb. So in the end I gave up. They constantly blamed the internal wiring in the house, even though a BT engineer came out and got around 4mb at both the master socket and the extension I use! The other thing that puts me off is having to change my email address again.
  22. That's the thing - the planet won't die, but lots of us might, or our descendants. So, when people talk about saving the planet, what they really want is to save our civilisation. The planet will be here long after humanity has gone.
  23. Around 3.30 this afternoon, heading south on the M77 near Kilmarnock. Anybody on here?
