You should be able to figure a board rack on the tintop for sure Rob! Some snaps of the rack with skis on...They stayed on too! Result! It's 18 degrees here today, so I binned the rack and played golf instead....

Fear ye not....I will be snapping away tomoz with the roof down and skiis on for sure !! I just found out at lunch though that the top clip stops the roof cover opening at the mo but I will drop it back a bit tomoz and see if it will work then as it would be rather sweet to be able to drop the hood with the rack still on...

Sorry it took me over a year to get this sorted, lazy barsteward is my middle name......buuuuuut, I just cleaned the beast off and this morning attached my old MG ski rack to the Z's ample and shapely rump ready for a charge up to the pistes tomorrow morning......HURRAH !!! ....laugh away

Thanks prescience, a good explaination. So when you drop in the new filter and plant the fun pedal for the first time before the ECU can adjust, (after just having done it with the old filter in as a comparison) you will immediately see/hear the benefits of a better airflow.... Anyhow, this is only a minor mod for a few quid and is presumably the first step anyone takes into the darkside....bring on the nismo exhaust and Novidem SC....That will for sure make a difference !!! Cheers !!

So if you allow the engine to breath better it won't work better ??!! How come no one has sued K&N or Nismo or Green or the other filter suppliers for false advertising a 4-5 bhp increase, even when backed up by dyno charts ?? As I said, it is not a big increase, but there is a definite noticable increase from stock. "K & N panel filters are performance washable and reuseable versions of the OEM filter. They fit in the original airbox as a direct replacement, but increase horsepower and throttle response along with superior filtering."

You kid me. You obviously don't have a fine ear for it then mate. That and probably a tin top to insulate you from everything I did say there was not a big difference, but I assure you there is both a difference/increase in both pull and noise.

yup, just pop open the box and swap the filter over. It's not a huge difference, but there is a definite increase in rortiness (great word). My nissan garage got it me, but for sure it would be cheaper on fleabay Hows that nismo exhaust ? full cat back or just the back box ? It is what I will go for as wel for sure to keep it under guarantee. Big sound difference too ?

Hi all, Just noticed my OPI today is hovering around the 1/4 bar and then edging upto halfway as I inch forwards. Is this normal ? Cant say I noticed it moving before ? Also just entered the darkside for the first time with my Z this week. I just put a Nismo sports air filter on it Not the full monty, just the panel replacement filter. Makes a big difference sound wise and pull wise (and of course chic pull wise .....

Come on you lot !! Stop fannying around !!! Get thee some winter tyres on your RAYS and get there and rip it up in the fresh and fluffy !!! The traction control works great and really keeps you in line....well sort of...haha Heres a wee vid of me going to work the other day, it was only -6 though and not much snow on the ground

Hi all, I was doing donuts in the snow in the carpark at work as you do and an orange light caught my eye, I looked down and I am on totally empty and as I looked at the DTE guage it went from 10kms to 0 I could not believe I hadn't noticed the level drop that low without filling up. Sweated all morning worrying whether I was going to make the petty station at lunch... got in at lunch and it was back upto a 1/4 !! I think I was doing anti clockwise donuts mostly guess the guage is on the right-hand side of the tank !!
