  1. Looks like another little mod I should be doing - very helpful guide Chris
  2. Excellent pics there Darren and glad to hear your ZED is in full health again.
  3. Welcome to the forum and 370 ownership What parking sensors you having fitted? If the rear bumper is coming off I would be intersted to hear the procedure
  4. For some it was a weeks event and not just driving as you will see here viewtopic.php?f=19&t=16819 with Stew on the trip to the north coast after the Hoon ...and Durness beach on the north coast - gee it was windy
  5. +1 - it was after the Silverstone track experience that quickly put aside any doubts and I was happy to shell out for what I can honestly say is turning out to be a big step up from the 350 - and that was good, well they both were
  6. and after you have tried being so positive about the car after the 'issues' you had.... I believe it's for the better, you might be able to tell me... Man after my own heart - I kept it quiet and the team guessing - all adds to the pleasure
  7. Glad the 350 issues didn't put you off ZED ownership and I'm sure that once you have done the run-in there will be plenty of these and these
  8. and after you have tried being so positive about the car after the 'issues' you had....
  9. Quality posts did not go unnoticed - good to have you aboard Dan
  10. Thanks for the work you put into the post Dan and given the subject of mixing tyres is a regular issue hopefully that will help newbies who may be wondering about tyre choice. A vital aspect of maintaining a ZED and getting the best from it that you simply do not skimp on, IMHO.
  11. Link to a TSB for the fuel filler cap sticking http://www.myzroadster.com/Files/tsbs/0 ... 04-059.htm Used this to fix the problem I had on my first ZED
  12. I am sure you will get the factor you want with 350 ownership. Just a small point - the 296 (300) bhp UK ZEDS (MY06 models) were not generally available until the autumn of 2006 - be careful as a lot of traders and even owners try to pass the pre-facelift version as something they are not. Having said that unless you are particularly keen to get the facelift there is certainly nothing wrong with the earlier 276 (MY03 models) - in fact having experienced both I can honestly say I found the 276 engine more suited to the 350. Also be careful if you are aiming for the MY07 models (309bhp) - again some of the earlier MY06 get offered as these. Always ask on here if you not sure when you see something you fancy
  13. Rims do look good and the offsets are perfect. I see you have chosen 30 profile tyres - which seems to be the main reason for the lowering need, looks-wise. Was that a deliberate profile choice or was it dictated by the Vred Sessanta sizes available? How are you finding the ride with that profile? With the 19" Nismo wheels the recommended profile (going back to Big Phil's days) was 35. On the 370 the tyre profiles are 40 and I was surprised just how much difference in the rolling wheel diameter there is between the 35 and 40 profiles - over an inch when I did a side by side comparison. And if the Sessantas are now nicely scrubbed in, how you finding them in the wet and dry?
  14. If you want to try something else before Alex's hard-hitting approach...... And as the plug is now knackered try a length of wire, say from a coat hanger, with a hooked and spiked end and do a bit of fishing - perhaps a torch might help. Even two hooked wires - one either side to help an even pull the rubber ring off might be better. Just a suggestion
  15. check out this thread viewtopic.php?f=9&t=37842&p=565260#p565260
  16. Is the noise with the window shut or open - only ask that as you say the noise goes away when you put your hand over the mirror but then mention removing the doorcard suggesting it is when the window is shut. If it whistles when the window is 'shut' - check that it is fully shut and is not staying partially down, as they do when closing the door. Otherwise, the only suggestion I can make is to check the rubber door/window seal, particularly around the window area, to see if that might be the problem.
  17. All I can I say is those snoozing plods that frequent my part of the world would have all their dreams come true if a kitted out 370 (as nice as that looks), went any where near
  18. Hmmmm............. might well copy that idea and looks as though it would be good for rear facing vids too
  19. Now the factor is really kicking in eh, especially with the syncro rev? How many miles have you done, nope what I am really asking is have you got past 1200 miles to let it have its head
  20. Locked with the agreement of the OP Now where is that banning button.......

  23. Here's a link that explains all viewtopic.php?f=103&t=34297&hilit=spacers As you will see, I have a set up that allows the use of the 350 19" Nismo's as well
  24. No - too many of those snoozing plods lying across the road where I live Consensus is that the spacers help to off-set the standard road height.
