  1. I'm expecting the start on Saturday will be about 10.30am, stop for a light lunch, and back to Moreton by about 4pm for car washing, social, drinks and evening meal. On the Sunday the start is likley to be 10.00am with a carvery lunch and back to Moreton by 4.30-5.00 pm, but for those needing to leave early the route is designed for people to 'break lose' earlier if they wish. My local scout should be out checking the routes now given what we are paying him - ARN'T YOU CHRIS (as if he needs encouraging ) Lazy types like me stay the 3 nights and last May on the Sunday we walked down to the local pub next to the canal to wind down. Take a peek at this thread for how the weekend goes viewtopic.php?f=19&t=36654&start=15 You have a pm BTW
  2. Welcome to the forum pm sunzed - he was 20 when he got his (just sold it ) his insurance was £1500 with Adrian Flux. Post code might be the killer in your case though
  3. I think he's referring to you Colin pot and kettle
  4. Or, to be used on a stolen ZED to sell it? In which case do you want to post up the reg in a new thread to make potential purchasers aware? Might add to you being stopped more which is a downside but as long as you have an incident sheet from the local police with you that will mean you can quickly go your way
  5. Another chance this year to enjoy great scenery and driving roads that Wales has to offer . You can either post yout interest on this thread or pm me with details Accommodation at Moreton is discounted but you are advised to register with them sooner rather that later as rooms are limited Full details at: viewtopic.php?f=19&t=38861&p=579784#p579784 Edited: 28/7
  6. Colin, Paul is the member who brought his R35 to the Hoon last year Yeah, I remember that, but it was the carbon fibre floor pan that puzzled me - didn't know about that on the GTR's
  7. Best way I found was simply to sit in the car for an hour or two and have a play with the menu options - I'm no whizz when comes to technology but its all quite logical once you find the options available and when you do need to plan a route the clarity of the instructions and viusal guidance are extremely good. Mind you, I had the car about 3 months before I decided to sit down and fathom it out
  8. What car, noting you have posted this in "other cars" and it has a carbon fibre floor pan?
  9. Looks like a nice drive in the country with just a couple of 'Sunday' drivers out All very smooth and incident frree - nice vid and write-up BTW, the rest of the team can put their feet up now and leave you to it and if there are wages going - get in line
  10. Give me a bell when you decide to have a pit stop
  11. Well said - We all have to start somewhere and after a while we can start helping others, and if it so boring then just move on
  12. Spam posts unrelated to the OP's request deleted
  13. Welcome to the forum Sorry to hear your first experience of ZED's ended in the way it did..... but under every cloud there is a silver lining.......? Look forward to seeing pics of your replacement ZED
  14. Let me know if that works for you

  16. I have to say I have been extremely impressed with the traffic information info that comes through the RDS-TMC system. As I drove out of my road I saw a large red circle with inner white symbol appear on the screen for a nearby junction I had to pass and not seeing one before scratched my head and kept going only to come upon 4 police vehicles at the scene of an accident. When I got home I checked the manual to find that meant there was a road closure or restriction, which there clearly was. But the fact the gps had picked up on information that could not have been long posted by the police was impressive. Other features like roadworks and queues on journeys have been useful. I particuarly like the split screen at junctions/roundabouts/motorways that makes it so clear which lane/exit to take, with the birds-eye views almost making the view life-like. And the system worked 100% in getting us round the Wales routes in May - even June who has been sceptical about sat navs finds the 370 route navigation system that good she is feeling redundant OK, so it does not have the post code function that 2010 370's have, but it is very easy to enter a place/road name, quickly offering options and then with the ability to move the map cursor to the specific location wanted, it is no chore at all. , Not having had an in-built sat nav before, I have to say it is proving very useful
  17. Might be worth puttin up your favourite pic Mike just so the OP can see he has got his plugged in correctly
  18. now I wonder why you said that - can't blame you though
  19. Malcolm I see a set of 19" LGMT 4's sold very quickly, which caught my eye viewtopic.php?f=32&t=39037
  20. Had thought about it but the black edition comes with dark grey 19" RAYS which I think really suit the car, also my LMGT4's are 18". Ah! in which case there might be an issue fitting over the 370 calipers, aside from lookinga wee bit small
  21. See here viewtopic.php?f=103&t=34297&hilit=spacers You will need 20mm spacers at the rear and the front tyre profiles should be 40 as opposed to 35 normally fitted for 350 fronts.
  22. Great news and choice - you will not be disappointed and in fact the grins just get bigger
