  1. 350 drive by wire throttle with auto blip - rather than the 370 system?
  2. Exhaust and uprev on mine equates to some 350 bhp so on a trade-in I would have to find Cir. £25k Oh well, there is always the lottery.................
  3. Now that is impressive The bore on that exhaust looks about 6", but I guess the small car size gives that impression.
  4. WoW, I wish hadn't looked at this thread! Seriously, big credit to you MacDaddy
  5. This. If I know I'm buying a bit of a shed then I'll cope if it has Nexens on it as I'll haggle the price down to compensate, but if I'm buying a minter I want to see at least 050As on there. But then the majority of buyers out there, IMO, will be more concerned the tyres are 4 of the same with with plenty of tread of them and the fact they may not be 050As/MPSS that informed users may say is best for the 350, would not be a deal breaker. So I too would agree with those saying Falkens, as a very suitable tyre for the majority. I certainly found them great value for the money and worked well in all conditions.
  6. Nice one!
  7. Feeling generous - as you ought to have your username on the pics, but let it go this time
  8. Now that looks very good Sorry, what make are they or do you have another thread with the details?
  9. Well I've loved the first 500 miles in the car, and I haven't even had a chance to drive it properly yet. Just a question, because I am unsure if this is a fault. When you stop the car, floor it, and go for launch, is their any reason why sometimes the clutch doesn't release fully, and stay semi down? Unsure if it's some sort of launch control system on the car, as it fully releases when the revs come down.... or a problem with the clutch. I have been getting a burney smell, although I think it maybe because it was new. Couple of points 1) I'm suprised you are giving that many beans with just 500 miles done. 2) I experienced that once when I had done some 2.5k miles and I have wondered whether it is an inbuilt restriction in the ECU. The 370 does not have a launch control in fact the 'issue' may be there to stop precisely that - at least for a time - perhaps until to the 1st service when the ECU gets updated? On the occasion it happened to me was on a Wales drive when I was stupid enough to try and leave a nice '11' upon leaving a stop point only to look a right wally and yes the clutch complained for a few miles but no issue since. And I am a good boy with my starts now
  10. Deffo wasn't you else I'd have wound my window down and asked you how much for a detail I thought that going to continue as a hand gesture
  11. Moved to the 350 section
  12. I posted a photo of my new car when the forum first went online. Now when i try to upload photo's including the original photo, its says image is too large. Excuse me for asking, but are you trying to that by the "Choose files......" option? - if so then it will bulk (see the limits noted). Best to use a picture hosting site (if you do not already have one) and paste the URL's in the pop-up window when you click on the little green box on the toolbar. Never had a problem myself with images of varying sizes using that method.

Where?! Kaisermotors Wonder if the price differs between the 350 and 370? (Given this thread is in the 370 section)
  14. Keeping an eye on you lot! Oh, work is on the other screen
  15. Welcome along - RWD will be a whole new experience for you .........of the right kind And hey, if the only thing you faulted with the Kuro 350 you looked at was a bit of suspect paint in one area, then providing that is not linked to something more serious in terms of accident damage, a few hundred quid to put right shouldn't put you off as long as the rest of the package is sound. Corrected that for you...
  16. Lots of info here about the testing: http://www.f1sa.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=36101:f1-2013-jerez-february-test-formula-1-wednesday-results-grosjean-rules-day-2&catid=1:f1&Itemid=157

  19. A very happy birthday Darren - have a good one, maybe a bit of s/c fun before you settle down to getting well and truly
  20. BBC are down to cover 10
  21. Even on a brand new engine? Look at this way, motor manufacturers have nothing to gain not stipulating earlier services, in fact they and the dealers lose out. If they knew there was a risk of engine damage you can bet your life they would saying more frequent services were necessary. No harm done if you want to change more frequently and OK - if extreme driving conditions prevailed then a good idea, but given the OP is running-in his car by the book in good old Blighty then I think it would be money wasted quite honestly.
  22. Not necessary IMO - 9k miles on modern oils is no issue these days
  23. iplayer link here for those interested http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b018nn7l/A_Night_with_the_Stars/
  24. Happy birthday Dave - go on, have a real treat and use your ZED today ......to take away the pain of the advancing years .
