So racing on roads in Croatia is OK? From what you have said, hitting the pothole and the car is since pulling to the right all points to something is not as it should be on that front hand corner and suspension/brakes need a thorough checkover

Sounds like a dodgy sender or related wirin issue to me. When you have seen high temps did the engine smell unusally hot and did the water temp move from normal?

Smell from the wheel area could just be the brake pads after your "fast test drive". But as others have said ^^^ price is wishful thinking but if it is ticking boxes for you otherwise then go in with a relalistic price offer and if they don't meet you at your 'bottom line', move on - plenty out there to choose from.

All the ingredients indicate to me that if push comes to shove (excuse the pun ) Rosberg ticks a lot more boxes for Mercedes than Hamilton as LH is putting himself more and more out on a limb and has not really demonstrated he has that something extra to make the team do everything in their power to retain him. And we know there is more than one other German driver on the present grid who would like to take Hamilton's seat if it became available - e.g. Hamilton/Vettel swap that might ease the respective team's ££££££s pain...............
