  1. New one on me er.........trying to get my head round this so I checked your introductory first post with this that shows something hanging from a rear view mirror???? You playing games with us..........?
  2. Makes me think you have a cracked disc or disintegrating pad(s) or something has come loose on one of the calipers. Did you perhaps collect some of the tyre debris from the blow out that has caused some damage? Just a thought for a visual check. From what you have described I think I would use a breakdown service to get you to the dealer as something might suddendly let go altogether......
  3. Good vids to watch - you can see that diff making its presence felt, especially under hard braking Helped by no rear view mirror...... and seeing some others were not using theirs as well as they should you seem happy enough with just the side mirrors?
  4. Still under warranty so a visit to the dealer, if only for safety's sake?
  5. Possibly lost balance weight(s)?
  6. Busted! http://www.hoax-slayer.com/landing-plane-truck.shtml (Damn........and it looked so good too)
  7. Jeez, how does that guy get his pants on Slight slip and he would be mashed by umpteen tons of plane on him.

  11. You're never 15stone Colin Guess Daryl, it depends how many gold bars you are stacking up there, or you could always let the Zed get wet and use a few acrow props Sorry, hit the weekend pop early
  12. ATTAK Z will be along soon But I personally would not trust lying my15 stone on that chipboard given the joist butt-jointing of those trusses (deserves a Will )
  13. Those of us that have "promoted" the MPSS are not blinkered to other tyres but I can safely say that the majority have experienced a range of tyres on the ZEDs and I for one have always said that tyres like the Falken 452's are perfectly suitable for normal road use and spirited driving, but if you want that bit extra grip in both the dry and especially the wet, then the MPSS are in a different league. But yes, at the expense of the MPSS being a little less 'playful' without leaning on the loud pedal quite a bit more, and that may not be the balance that suits everyone. But given more and more owners are increasing engine power that balance might be more suitable and dare I say a little less straining on the pockets given the respective wear factors. Fortunately the cost of the MPSS have dropped signifcantly in recent times, no doubt an added reason for the take-up of these tyres. Bear in mind the ZED was originally sold with Bridgestones 040's which owners quickly came to learn were great fun in the dry but hopeless in the wet, and whilst the latest 'Stones are a big improvement, in my experience they were still wanting for grip in the wet but then the contract Nissan has with Bridgestone is probably so lucrative it is only feedback from owners that will help others to decide what other tyres are likely to be best for them and the ZED.
  14. I think an awful lot of us on here will be relieved to hear you are not buying it - it had "too good to be true" written all over it.
  15. "Ken" on here ( http://www.350z-uk.c...er/14439-ken/) keeps records of GT4 ownership, although I can't see No.45 so good news another has joind the fold http://www.350z-uk.c...-owners-thread/

  17. Think this is how I would do it: http://www.detailing...734&postcount=5 (without the pink gloves oh, and use a hairdryer rather than the car's heater )
  18. That's it, I'm definitley coming along now then. I'll second that then
  19. Same here. Recently moved and ended up dumping 15 years of saved boxes in the loft for the very reasons you mentioned. Learnt my lesson and utter waste of space and then time getting rid.
  20. Being blunt, why did you just not look at the Sub-Forum for selling ZEDs http://www.350z-uk.c...-zeds-for-sale/ Is it really that hard?
  21. Dipped headlights coming on linked to when the wipers are working continuously is a such an obvious pairing - just surprised so few manufacturers have not done this. But nothing worse than in pouring rain you see cars with no lights on at all I've been guilty of forgetting to turn off the fog light - in the 370 it is out of my normal vision due the steering wheel and again I feel this something manufacturers could readily address by more careful placing of warning lights as I'm sure that is why we see so many cars with fog/head/side lights on when not needed. Obviously there are the posers who think it is 'cool' to have the fogs on - scooby owners are notorious for that......er, me being one of them in my younger years (C1996) What does concern me is Volvo's and other cars that come with dipped headlights on all the time. We have all got used to a flash or two by drivers letting us turn etc but so often you see a Volvo wallowing about it looks at times though they are flashing their lights and if that co-incides with a turn you are making then you can easily be fooled into thinking they are helping that action. It has taught me over the years to always be wary of what you think is a kind gesture, for fear of getting caught out.....and whose fault is it when the Volvo T-Bones you......
