+1 - strange..... It certainly should be covered on the warranty - the cause being a water pumps seizing after 7 months makes that pretty clear IMO.....

+1 You can buy it off eBay for about a quid too. Not worth it. Pay less, get a detailer to put two coats of Jetseal on it and you will be better off in both respects.

I agree with Liam. A car that new should not have fan belts going. And I can't see how it would get hit, as there is an under tray on the Zed so things can't get sucked up into the engine bay really. I think you have reason to claim on warranty.

SRP is a very good polish. EDS is, in my opinion, so much better for newer cars. If anyone has a black car, you can really see the difference. You can use all three AG products mentioned together. SRP, then EDS followed by UGP. I have used all three at length and still used them. Only thing with AG polishes, is they contain silicon. Great for a good finish for us, but if you ever have to have paintwork or a repair done, it makes live a lot harder for the paintshop. With either SRP or EDS, make sure you put a sealant / wax on top. That is what gives the protection / shine.

It doesn't matter, you got a Zed, that you wanted, for what you could afford to spend. For what it's worth, mine was £19k when it was 19 months old with 24k on it. You've done alright.

Good advice on the batteries!! Agreed on the memory cards, my 2gb one was about £15 so I can always get another one. It was whether I can tell the difference. It will be a lot of car shots in various scenaries and famous places, so may well want to enlarge some of them. SHQ it is from the sound of it, and take my spare 128mb card for emergencies!
