  1. Right, here's my car garage... 1. 1st car was this little gem, Nova 1.3SR. Compared to my mates fiesta 950cc and mini metros, this was a great little car 2. Kept with the Vauxhall and went onto a Corsa 1.4SRI (too embarassed to put a pic up ) 3. Started down the fast ford route with an old Fiesta 1.8 16v XR2I. This thing was pretty fast and handled well but was always breaking down, it definately gave support to the Fix Or Repair Daily (FORD) belief ! 4. Now this is probably my favourite car, a Racing Puma, wanted one for ages and in my opinion still looks fab. It is the best handling car I've ever driven, just needed a little more poke 5. Still with the fast fords, moved onto a Focus RS, got is chipped with full exhaust system and de-cat, it shifted ! It got a bit too chavvy so decided on the Zed 6. here is my old 350z, still sadly missed 7. Lastly, I've nicked my wife's 182 clio while she has the pleasure of a 5 door Honda civic for the baby, this thing is like a go-Kart !
  2. Not sure who's car it is but loving the black one with anthracite alloys - looks sweet Ads
  3. Car now sold to Ross from Denny in Scotland, happy with the price I got. Mentioned this club so he may appear at some point. Feel quite upset at the moment Ads
  4. Hi - I've potentially got a buyer for my car, he is coming down from Scotland with cash in hand so looking good The notes are Scotish bank notes, may seem a funny question but these are fine to accept in England ??? I just recall some news about some places not accepting them. probably just being paranoid but thought it worth checking cheers Ads
  5. Hi mate, sorry for being totally crap getting back to you on this one, things have been busy with work and the new baby, wasn't sure what I may have on today. The Wife has arranged a photo session for the baby and us so would have my balls cut off if I did not make it I actually just went past the Grosvenor Pulford about 30 mins ago to the Vets next door, I can vouch for the weather, it is well nice in Chester today Have a good drive out Ads
  6. bump - Price now £12,250 pm me with any questions you may have.
  7. Just got off the phone to my younger brother. Last night he woke at 1:30am to noises downstairs, someone trying to get in through the front door. He looked out the window and 2 scallys where there trying to get in, he banged on the window and they legged it. He went downstairs to call the cops and one of the back windows had simply been taken out and they had taken his girlfriends keys and tried to go back round to the front to open up. Luckily he had deadlocks on the front door and they could not get in and caused the noises waking my brother up. He has a lurvely Clio 197 and this is clearly what they were after, all his game consoles and plasma where untouched. Now this is the 2nd time in 6 mths someone has tried this so he has cancelled his car (company car) and is going to get a bog standard focus. It drives my f**king crazy that scumbags like this exist and have to ruin it for others enjoying something they have worked honestly for. rant over Ads
  8. After emerging from 2 month of no sleep and sh*tty nappies, I've now got round to re-listing my car for sale. My 1st post has been updated to reflect the latest condition of the car, notably 4 nice spanking new Falken FK452 Tyres all round. Car is priced at £12,495 and I'm open to sensible offers - please don't turn this into a debate on what's a fair price again cheers Ads
  9. Neil - I'm kind of in the same boat as you, planning on selling my Zed but for 5 doors due to baby but want a sporty car which has some punch. My budget is a bit lower than yours tho. My shortlist at the moment is 1 - Focus ST3. They have good equipment and go ok (not as much as my old RS felt) and sound nice. Don't like the sound of the poor MPG though 2 - Civic 2.2 diesel. A friend has one, I personally like the interior, has loads of toys and the car feels pretty fast 3 - Golf 1.4 TSI - actually suprised to see this has 170bhp and 0-60 in 7.1 seconds. Has got to be reasonable on the mpg and tax. A lad at work has the 140bhp one and that goes ok. cheers Ads
  10. Yes have printed out the ECU reset procedure and keeping it at hand in future ! cheers Ads
  11. Car is now back with me and working fine. The problem appeared to be the immobiliser getting confused and Nissan could not find anything else wrong with it. The ECU has been reset and it has started everytime since Thurs .. and It only cost 1 hrs labour Ads
  12. Hiya buddy - may try and make this one, if my car decides to start and turn up to play ! (its looking good on that front!). may be last one before she goes, Ads
  13. I'm thinking maybe I wish you had The non-nissan garage said it was showing some alarm/immobiliser codes but had to send it to Nissan for full diagnostics. Hopefully it'll be sorted quickly (and cheaply) and i can post up some info which will help otherws if they have the same problems. Once its sorted, with the new tyres now on, I'll get it up for sale again. Ads
  14. Both the AA man and the garage were suprised at it non starting - said they've never had any issues with the 350z before !
  15. Car is still with Nissan Dealer and no news so far - now starting to get worried, can feel the £££ racking up
