  1. no one has a money pit silly, they obviously planted a £5 note back in april and now they have a money tree.
  2. don't know what they will charge you but i know they will do an excellent job, they have been very reasonable for me with work.
  3. i would colate all your questions over a week, and then go see him, especially as he hasn't started yet. as for air flow i know the golf ball principle, but that works for a sperical object as it rotates through air it decreases its resistants and helps it go further. inside a plenum i don't think it will have the effect you want. my educated guess would be a smooth finish. it might be possible to inlay CF back into the pplenum with its resin finish should give a very smooth finish.
  4. Well, dear rtbiscuit, the first post was edited after I made mine....
  5. +1 i think scotland in general seems to be the mecca for 350Z's
  6. without playing devils advocate here, no one ever mentioned beer in the first post. it would work just as well cooling down cans of fizzy pop
  7. uprated clutch is apparently better i think exedy is the reccomended replacement to stock. PM zmanalex i think he supplies the kit ready for fitting, and i have a feeling he's not far from you for fitting as well.
  8. Best one i know of is Ipswich accident repair, they are linked to TEAM AFM the touring car team. i've used them for repairs, but from what i've seen there spraying is very good. body shop of the year 2008.
  9. minis are a great project car, if you keep it stock engine there is so much available for them and so cheap to do in comparison to the Zed. and if you get a rusty example replacement panels are dirt cheap. if you strip it back to the chassis, sand blast and repait, and rebuild from there it should be rot free for ever, as modern paint and rust prevention treatment has come on a long way. also i think alot of the replacement panel s are ally now instead of mild steel (could be wrong) wheel archs were the worst hit area, the chassis was normally fine. door sills were another weak spot. i love them with the wide arch setup and a big set of mini ultra lite wheels. i'd be tempted to swap to the clubman nose and then drop something silly in
  10. if you look closely its already in the water
  11. i think it might be a case of buy and spray, these are quite rare, so unlikely you'll get it ready painted. but not impossible. if theres one in blade silver i'm interested as well
