The ssv looks nice but from what Adam said they actually loose power and he only place you'll see any chance of gains is with a turbo setup and a retuned ecu. Even the snazzy cosworth plenum has the same problem. Sorry to p1ss on your chips but it's the same dilemma I've been going through. From what it seems Nissan did a very good job on the original design. And the only way to Improve on it is to add a spacer to allow more air to the front cylinders.
-
i looked at these as well, but if you speak to adam at Z1 he'll tell you what he thinks, apparently they crack really easily hence they are replacing them free of charge. its plastic and a very rough outer surface. and adam reckons they don't make any gains compared to a spacer. where as this should make the gains as its a spacer built into a plenum. and its CF so shouldn't crack like the plastic

i'm interested to see what my true dual and typhoon does once coupled with the CF plenum. i've thought about HFC's but i'm not sure it will make that much difference with a true dual. think i need to maintain some back pressure. Uh oh, you used the dreaded back pressure phrase. Its the correct exhaust velocity that you need mate (I dont have a clue what I'm on about, I remember Adam@Z1 saying it) isn't it a case of same difference, i.e if you don''t have the correct amount of each then you actually loose power not gain it.

get down to halfrauds or order it on line, you can get the meguairs clay-bar kit, which consists of a bar of clay and a lubricant spray. you basically fold the clay till its warm and pliable. then spray the lube on the car, and rub it with the clay. the clay lifts the contaminates off the paint and restores the paint to a glass like smoothness. when clay is dirty just fold in half and continue with a clean side. once you've been over the car once if it still feels rough in spots then clay again. any swirl marks after can then be polished and then a good coating of a good qualify carnuba wax based product should seal it all up and make it feel like the paint is magnetically charges and your finger should just glide across as if its almost not touching. please don't use t-cut its far too abrasive for the very thin paint that nissan decided to wave at the car. its like nissan got the 350z sprayed by gnats with blow pipes -
its in its original form of plain ABS plastic, very flexible and more resilient than fiberglass (its what all OEM body kits are usually made of, excluding nismo of course who went the GF route) as for spraying, don't know how close you live, but i can get the body-shop who repaired it to spray it for you as they are very good. but it would probably be easier to get it done near yourself.

the vinyl has come out really well, the 2 tone effect really shows up in the photos, good choice with the holographic behind the metallic black. how do they look in the flesh as photos don't really show up the metallic flacks. they were an absolute biatch to make by the way, especially the really tiny fiddly ones like the NX nitrous express by the way the car looks amazing

**Notice to admins** is it possible to have this thread split, and keep all the info on buying and fitting on here, and start a separate thread for peoples opinions, and after fitting photos because at 17 pages its getting hard to find all the info and important bits. looks to be a mammoth task sorry. i didn't want it just pruned and peoples opinions delelted as i think its important and people are entitled to there views. its what makes the forum interesting.

Rob at likwid art asked me to post this for you lot to hope fully answer any questions: Please post the pictures attached on the forum to show the guys how to position their logo's. There's no need to have positioning "lugs" attached to the logo's to get them in the correct position if they follow the diagram/pic attached - the logo's are supplied with the backing paper as marked out with the Black line in the pics surrounding the shape of the badge. Also please tell them that if anyone wants a logo, or if they have any questions, to call me on 01922 645938 or mobile 07866 784434, or email me on rob@likwidart.com. It has been mentioned a couple of times that Likwidart badges are made of Plastic! - plastic is a cheap material that does not last/endure for very long - Likwidart badges are made of a complex material that is comparable in strength and durability to Chromed Steel! - if not more so!! - definitely not as basic and simple as Plastic!

its possible that there is slight oxidization in the paint, as it will happen to any paint over time. think of paint not as a smooth surface but more like your skin it is covered in little pores,; as time passes these fill up with dirt and oxidize hence when you run your hand over it, it feels a bit rough. easiest cure is a clay-bar, it will lift the oxidization out and leave the paint pores clear to fill with a nice wax. this will them protect the paint and stop any further build up of oxidization. so when you run your hand over it; it will feel like glass. look at the advertising for paint guard, it uses a similar process but lasts a lot longer. i think mine has the odd spot but then its due its 6 month clay-bar treatment about now anyway -
don't think its one of ours

tyre pressures seem fine to me i would think its most likely the nexens. they have about as much grip as leper hanging from a cliff.

hidden option No.5 doesn't count imo, because the K1 and K2 are fairly close to the option No.3 budget, whereas hidden option No.5 basically walks over all previous mentioned options, pulls it's pants down, pisses all over them and then makes budgets of it's own.... rofl
